Great product for price point
Hard to beat this product for the price point really. Well made and bright enough. I was looking at another product that is 1/3 brighter but it was over $500 so I settled for this yet not disappointed.

Everyone asks me where I got these from.
I use these for weddings. I bought 3. Everyone ask me what these lights are called and where I got’em from. Last about 3 hour on full brightness when you use npf-970 battery. If you power it using usb port, even at full brightness, it won’t be fully bright.

More than I expected - !
I received them today and wow - they are nicer than I thought they would be. For $98 I was expecting just okay.... but then again we are talking about Aputure and they really go over and beyond.I'm using these for my new video channel and need them on location as well as in the studio. I was thinking these might just be a highlight light but in reality - I can use them as key lights for the small studio that I have. Super stoked about it...!

Cannot be powered by USB except with the provided cable
I tried powering this device with multiple USB cables and power supplies and not one configuration works except with the short provided cable. Apple USB-C power adapters do not work. Nor do MacBook Pro chargers, or three other USB charging stations I used with 4 different USB-C and USB-A cables in every combination. I'm an engineer and after some research online I believe the device is not signaling to the source to provide sufficient power. There seems to be a difference in power delivery specifications between US and Chinese standards such that current level is not correctly negotiated when using anything but the provided cable. I reached out to the seller for information, link to a technical specification, hoping to buy a longer cable or adapter that would meet my needs but they did not respond. Another problem is that the color output is quite different from another model I have of the same brand. To get the same color from each panel the Kelvin reading is 400-500K different between the panels. Based on the marketing material and reviews I watched, I expected these two devices when set to the same numeric color value (in Kelvin) to output the same color. Also the overall quality and material feel was well below my expectations. If the company can solve these issues then they might yet have a competitive product portfolio in the budget market. Considering the current problems and no product support I would not recommend buying into this brand at this time.
