This is a great addition to the govee's line up. Not that govee's products need this device as most of Govee's products if not all have there own timer feature. But I'm glad they do. surprisingly there small in factor and works very well. I do not know if this device is good for heavy powered equipments. I use it the lights & light powered device. Easy to set up and has a good look with grooved handling grips for easy pulling out. Fairly priced and convenient for equipments which do not have a timer features. Well done Govee. Always on top of there game. & thanks for your dedication.

I have one or two plugs from 2 other brands and oh Lord and it’s always a pain. Press button, reset, hold, pray, light some candles, pray again.How, these Govee plugs works just right. You plug, you open the app? It adds itself basically, “Alexa, search devices”, done.

I couldn’t seem to get it to work though. To be fair, the listing didn’t state that it was compatible with Apple’s Home app. But I was (maybe incorrectly) under the understanding that ‘Matter-branded’ devices were supposed to work for all platforms. Hence, the ‘Matter’ designation.That aside, however, it’s still a good smart plug. And I can still take advantage of its features through the Govee app. I ended up just using the timer function for my Apple Magic Keyboard. Rather than having the keyboard power my iPad Pro all day, I now have it on a schedule (On at 8p then, Off at midnight after it’s fully charged). Hopefully this helps with extending the life of the iPad’s battery.Schedules aside, when toggling the power button through the app, the plug reacts quickly. Haven’t tried the Timer Mode yet but, I don’t force any issues with that. Design-wise, it’s fine. If anything, it’s a little big. There’s a good chance it’ll block part of the other plug slot on your outlet. This may be better suited to being in a power strip.Should I have any success with HomeKit and this plug in the future (via an update or anything), I’ll definitely update this. Overall though, pretty happy.

the app runs well! i even have some led lights from this company from like 5 years ago only one half still works but the bluetooth aspect is still operational! love govee

I bought this because I wanted to turn on/off my AC remotely. It works perfectly for my use case.I set it up and then added it to Google Home. Now I can say "Okay Google, turn on Air Conditioner" and it turns right on or off..This is great for when it's hot outside and I want the room to be nice and cool before I get inside. I'll eventually upgrade to a smart AC, but this is great in the meantime!

I would highly recommend these smart plugs. They sync up easily with the Govee app which is easy to use then can be easily connected to Google home to control with voice commands or Google home app. Have never had connectivity issues since first getting them hooked up. Would highly recommend and have purchased more since. Only complaint is that they are a little bulky but I think that's pretty normal for all smart plugs.

this thing is awesome. it has very good range for one and turns on/off instantly with JUST BLUETOOTH.no need to waste wifi on a silly switch.
