I wanted to get away from using plastic microwave covers and this glass one has been amazing! The glass is sturdy but not too heavy, and the small ventilation hole works perfectly. I wanted a cover that wasn’t plastic of any kind so I opted for this one. I don’t trust claims of safety of plastic after being microwaved. It works well but is a bit heavy. Great quality. Would recommend.

I liked the glass vs plastic. Very well built. I like the Easy-Grip Silicone Knob. I bought the cover to work with Corelle plates and the ONEMORE Microwave Bacon Tray with Lid Ceramic Bacon Cooker Meat Rack for Oven Cooking Crispy Bacon Maker with Cover - 11 inch Round Bacon Dish Plate, White (fits perfectly). It does not work with the large Corelle plate. Works great with everything else. I gave it a 4 because it was a little small in diameter on the inside.

Fantastic. Should have bought this many years ago. We always used a stoneware lid from another pot, or a bowl, but nothing ever fit right, and it was always a burn risk when things got hot from steam. This is great because it covers the whole plate, has sufficient height to the edges, does not touch the food on the entire plate, has a vent hole, it is easy to wash, no seams or places to collect moisture, and a stay cool handle. It also produces way less condensation when heating leftovers, so no soggy pizza crust. And we are always looking to steer clear of plastic, so this checks that box as well. We also like that you can clearly see the extent to which heating of food is taking place, so it provides much more control of reheating leftovers. Fits our Crate & Barrel (for reference) blue trim dinner plates to the edge, but does not fall off and is quite stable. Also works great to cover small plates and bowls. If it fits within the footprint of your dinner plates this is a no brainer if you routinely reheat food in the microwave. Just buy it.

It seems like every day I read or hear something about plastic being terrible making me extra nervous about using it in any way for food. I have not come across many glass splatter guards for the microwave so I was very happy to find this option. It’s heavy so it seems pretty solid but it still works fine with my thin Correll plates and bowls. There is a hole to vent steam which is helpful. It washes up nicely. If I could change one thing about it, I would make it an inch taller. It’s mostly not an issue but sometimes the guard touches the food because it’s relatively shallow. But I’m still glad I bought it.

This replaced our old plastic cover and I’m really happy with it. Very well made and easy to clean. It’s obviously heavier than the plastic one but not by much.

Please, don't put plastic in the microwave. It's terrible for you health. And if you have kid(s), you should protect their health! Bought one for my ex as well because we share custody, and I was really peaved (and now ashamed) that we both were using the plastic splash guards. I finally accepted the cost of goods, and my financial fate, but spending a few CAD is worth it, especially if children are involved.

Já tenho usado o produto há uma semana e atendeu bem à minha necessidade de ter algo para cobrir pratos no microondas que não fosse de plástico. Parece ser resistente e não é pesado. Chegou em perfeitas condições mesmo com o envio internacional. Serviu bem para os meus pratos, mas eu acho que não vai ficar bom com qualquer tipo e tamanho de prato. Parece que o ideal para ter uma boa altura livre no interior é usar com pratos rasos em que a tampa consegue ficar apoiada em cima ou pratos fundos que cabem inteiros dentro da tampa. Alguns exemplos nas minhas fotos com 4 tipos de pratos: um raso sem aba de 25,5 cm (10 polegadas), um raso sem aba de 25 cm, um prato fundo de 22 cm, um prato de sobremesa de 19 cm.

Vraiment très pratique.
