I must admit, half way thru the bottle and the verdict is still out on Botanical Hearth's Peppermint Shampoo. It smells nice and father's kind of well. (A little thin of sorts...you know, not super luxurious, but well enough. That might be because of the coconut oil.) The quality is good, but not great. It does not leave flakes, residue or any bad stuff. I was a bit surprised with it being peppermint oil, it does not leave a tingling feeling on my scalp. Over all, this is fairly healthy shampoo with a limited number of non-nature made ingredients. It was packaged and shipped well without any problems or leaks.

I’ve been reordering this product and like how good my scalp feels and my hair looks. Its growing fast has gotten thicker and shiny. Been using for 8 months. Will continue using.

This shampoo does not smell like peppermint oil whatsoever. It smells more like oatmeal raisin cookies. It’s not unpleasant but I don’t want my hair smelling like a bakery. The biggest issue is that this shampoo is thick and really sticks to hair. I have to spent extra time in the shower rinsing it off and it seems to leave a bit of residue. So I don’t recommend it.
