Tasty and versatile
These are great! They are very flavorful, and while I agree with the other reviewers who said they can be a little on the dry side if not soaked first, it does not take long to soften them. It depends what you're putting them in, too. I'm pretty lazy, so I have not done any pre-soaking. If you're slow-cooking something that retains heat, like a thick sauce, the leeks will get soft enough without extra help. A short soak in hot water should also be enough before adding them to something quicker cooking.

Natural product, not as aromatic as hoped.
Not quite as flavorful nor as aromatic as other brands I’ve used. However once it aired out after removing the lid it got better. I am using it up. It’s just a reality of natural agriculture products. Without sorting and grading and blending it’s hard to get the results you hoped for. Without knocking this brand I’ll try another brand next time. Just in the hope of finding one closer to my expectations.

Leek Flakes: Smelled & Tasted Like Hay. I Threw it Away
When I opened the sealed jar, the leek leaves smelled like baled hay. Hubby concurred. He was raised on a ranch and baled/stacked a lot of hay. I was raised on big farms, and my father and brothers also baled/stacked a lot of hay. I tried rehydrating the leaves - even added a bit of sugar which generally helps with rehydrating any vegetable. It still smelled & tasted just like baled hay. I threw it away. Disappointing!!!

Hard Stem pieces
Just okay. Not very aromatic and contains lots of woody hard stem pieces.
