Bought as a present
This was bought as a present so I don’t know what the cards look like inside however great idea for extra playability for the Rubik’s cube.

Very easy to solve.
I thought it would be more interesting but it is ok. Puzzles are very easy and my children solve them very fast. Very good material quality.

This is stand alone puzzle cards
So firstly this is a set of stand alone puzzle cards based on the rubiks cube - I think thats important to be clear about as it looks like some people think it's to be used with a rubiks cube and it isnt - it's a puzzle game based on the rubiks cube. The card box is designed so you take a card from one side, solve the puzzle and put it in the other side via a slot - this makes sure you get a different card each time. They could have done with providing a better quality box made of sturdier cardboard or tin/plastic as I can see this becoming worn very quickly. There are 50 cards so plenty of them to work through. The cards have 3 different difficulties - beginner, intermediate and difficult. The instructions are written as if for adults rather than kids or teens which as the puzzles are aimed at age 14 plus makes sense but with some explanation the 7 and 10 yr old were able to solve the beginner level ones and then 10 yr old was also able to do some of the intermediates so the puzzles themselves provided you choose the right difficulty can be done by under 14s with some support.Over all a fun addition to our games collection.

Standalone puzzle games- no rubix cube needed
I got this item as I thought it would be puzzles to perform with the Rubix cube- but this is a standalone product. The cards come in a box which has been designed to assist you to remove cards from one side, and put back the other side. This is a good feature, but the piece of card which goes between for storage isn't the easiest to put back in, so you do risk cards falling out everywhere if you don't do it.The puzzles themselves are quite fun, though the instructions are written in a very 'adult' language and even when I looked at this found some of them difficult to decipher. It is recommended for age 14+ but I think with simpler instructions could be used by younger children- from around the age of 9/10.There are beginner, intermediate and difficult cards, so you can pick the level of difficulty, and means it is suitable for different ages and abilities.Overall, these cards are fun, not what I was expecting and certainly not something which wil get a regular use in our house, but good for those who like a puzzle or two to do for a couple of hours.
