Perfect for coffee beans
This company has been around a long time. I really enjoy this coffee grinder. I’ve used it for my spices too. It’s convenient small enough where it doesn’t take up any space definitely worth the money. easy to use cleans well as far as noisy I don’t think so. Just sounds like a regular grinder, but it works very quick and efficient so you don’t have to grind too long. Good quality.

Small but Mighty, Lasts a Long Time
Small and the coffee sticks to the sides and bottom after grinding. It grinds the coffee very fine which is nice. It’s stood up to a lot of use too. Very sturdy and dependable. I’ve ground more coffee over time in this little one than I was able to in a bigger more expensive one.

Great little grinder for price
This grinder works very well for its size and is quieter than the last small grinder I owned. It will grind coffee as fine as I want.

Worth the money
The media could not be loaded. This is the best compact coffee bean grinder hands down. I fill the coffee beans to the top since it is small & within 10 seconds they’re ground. The coffee does get stuck to the sides a bit but a quick butter knife swirl and it’s all out. I use a bottle cleaner and it cleans very easily. It’s pretty loud but since it’s fast it doesn’t really matter. It’s pretty easy to use.

A Huge Step Backward – Bring Back the 2019 Model!
I almost never leave 1-star reviews, but the 2025 version of the Proctor Silex Fresh Grind is a total disappointment. I loved my 2019 model—it was perfect until my husband overfilled it (despite my warnings!) and cracked the blade housing. We still used it for years after that, which tells you how well it worked. This new version? It’s a mess—literally. Here's what's wrong:Cord: The new cord is only 24", compared to the 34" retractable cord on the older model. Since the average kitchen counter is about 24" deep, this means you're forced to use it directly in front of—or uncomfortably close to—the outlet. No slack, no flexibility, and no tidy storage.Lid: The new lid is tiny, so you have to pour directly from the unit, which always creates a micro-mess. The 2019 version had a large lid you could flip over and use to neatly transfer the grinds—so much smarter and cleaner.Blade design: The blade in the 2025 version is raised from the base, so grinds get stuck and need to be manually scraped out. The older model had a low blade that kept the chamber clear and made cleanup a breeze.I’m keeping this one only in case I need to grind spices or something non-coffee, but for actual coffee grinding, I went and bought a 2019 model from eBay. Proctor Silex really messed up with this redesign. Please bring back what worked!
