Effective and Easy-to-Use Filament Dryer
I purchased the Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer Plus to help reduce moisture issues with my 3D printing filament, and it has been a solid addition to my workflow. The unit is easy to set up and use right out of the box. It accommodates spools of various sizes and holds them securely while gently drying the filament. I’ve used it with PLA, PETG, and ABS, and I’ve noticed fewer printing issues like stringing and inconsistent extrusion when filament has been pre‑dried. The controls are straightforward and intuitive, allowing me to adjust settings based on the type of material I’m drying. The build feels sturdy and well‑made, and the internal drying environment maintains consistent heat without overheating the filament. Overall, the Space Pi Filament Dryer Plus has made a noticeable difference in filament performance and has reduced the amount of failed prints due to moisture. It’s a worthwhile tool for anyone serious about consistent 3D printing results.

Great product! Definitely rec if on sale!
Drys out my PETG so it doesn’t get all stringy and cause my printer to get blobs of death! Easy to operate, doesn’t get too much condensation, has spots for desiccant, and does work while printing and with my AMS.

Great looking and does the job well.
Works really well. It does what it is advertised to do. Straight forward installation and I started drying right away. Controls are simple and I like that. I am mainly drying PETG and PLA, but soon will be testing ASA so will see how this goes. It can't speak about Nylon as I don't print with it. Noise level is acceptable from my perspective. It looks great as well and fits in my set up and space along the P1S. It also has a good presets that makes it easy to just put your spool in there and set it and forget it. Some caveats to know about: You likely will need to vent it perhaps once during drying or after to get some of the moister out, but I found that not entirely necessary. If you add the drying desiccants you should also get a better effect. There are some 3D printed mods and vent spacers you can do as well to get the best drying experience. You should also know that this is not an airtight container. So not the best option for storage after drying. You can print while drying at the same time so that is a good option if you are looking for that. Overall I would highly recommend it. When on sale I think it is worth the investment.

Great most of the time
There are a couple issues, but other than that, it works well. It does an adequate job of "sealing" the filament so that it doesn't soak up too much moisture between times running (I feel like it strikes a good balance of doing this and being easy to open/close). It drys out filament fairly quickly. Not too noisy. The main issue is the touch screen. It's very poor quality, but SO FAR it still works. It's mostly just very annoying and finicky. The one failure-issue I've run into is when you try to set it to ASA or ABS temperature. I usually have it drying PETG, so it sits at 60 C most of the time, but ASA asks for 65 C. At that temperature, the whole unit seems to hit an error and shut down, so I don't recommend setting it to that temperature. However, when I do print with ASA, I just keep it at 60 C and the print quality is still fine. As far as how easily it feeds out filament, it works mostly fine. I have had my printer PULL THE WHOLE DRYER OFF THE SHELF, but that was because I hit the end of the roll and the force of pulling the last bit from the spool was more than the friction of the feet of the dryer. So, I recommend either adding better friction to the feet, and/or always making sure you have a fairly full spool in the other slot (to add weight) when you have another spool that's about to run out. The other feed out issue I've had is with TPU. With this, you'll need to be more creative, because there's so much more friction as it gets through the ports than anything else. My solution has been to use a little piece of PTFE tube and put that in one of the little secondary vents on the LID, and feed through that. You do not want to feed TPU through an entire PTFE tube, because that will just add too much friction and could cause very annoying jams in your hot end. You especially do not want to feed it through the port on the top, because that's too sharp a turn.

A very good drier that works well and has an accurate timer.
This works as good as you would expect. It dries very evenly as far as I can tell. I usually dry for 4 to 8 hours to begin with depending on the type of filament. Some filaments I just leave in all the time, like pet g. I just feed directly out of the unit to my printer as there is a built in ptfe tube and I run out of that into the printer. The controls are very clear and easy to read and use. Although when I first used it I selected pet g, and it put up 4 hours. I figured that is what the selection of the type of filament was for. However, that was the only time that happened. I don’t know why, or if, the machine puts up the time to dry. Now I wonder why there is even a selector for material type as it doesn’t seem to change the temperature and it doesn’t select a time to dry, you have to put that in. Not a big deal as it is very easy to do. The timer is accurate and easy to set. I like this and have no issues with it.

Seems to work well! Keeps my filament warm and dry. I've never printed without it so I cant compare it to not having it. But I havent had any issues printing. The Digital display is a little different than I'm use to but works well and simple to use.

Tal vez lo he tenido más de un año y sigue funcionando seca el filamento sin problema

Does a good job of drying filament, and can be used to feed the filament to the printer. It's not completely air tight so the humidity does go back up after some time. It would be great if it had a gasket and closing mechanism to make it more air tight. The touch screen is "usuable" but it's slow and often doesn't register when I press on it. If it had a better screen and was more airtight it would definitely be a 5 star.
