Looks elegant
Great stand! The build quality is excellent — the wood is smooth, well-finished, and looks elegant in the room. Assembly took just a minute, and the guitar stands stable and secure. Big plus for the natural look.

Great stands and work well. Very nice
Nice stands. Look nice. The rubber did come off after a while but easy enough to glue back on. Hold my guitar and another amsller one is used for my ukulele. Sturdy. Easy to fit together. Good stability. Can be flat packed if needed to transport.

Good value, elegant instrument stand
I bought this to replace a different type of guitar stand. This stand is simple, elegant and unobtrusive; it looks far better in the lounge than the metal stand that it replaced. The stand appears to be made of plywood and does not weigh very much. Assembly is a doddle - slot together the two parts and the stand is ready for use. Because the parts are light and not screwed or glued, the stand flat-packs easily enough to take on the road if required. In use, guitars are protected by a thin (PU?) leather facing on all contact faces - this should be adequate to prevent scratches provided care is taken. Despite the light weight, the stand feels more sturdy than expected when I removed the parts from the box. My classical and acoustic guitars are a pretty good fit for this stand - I am less sure that it would suit narrow bodied or electric guitars (but I suspect it will be fine). Recommended.

Beautiful and practical
This is a good-looking stand for people who want to display their guitar, and who do not worry too much about it being knocked over. I have no children, and one very mellow cat. The stand works perfectly for me, and has the added benefit of allowing you to simply grab the guitar and play any time without undoing a neck fastener. Essentially, it is style over substance, but that works for me. If you play daily or have a space where you are worried about it being knocked down, this might not be the stand for you. It sits flat and sturdy and I have had no trouble with rubbing or with the rubber coming off so far. I am careful when taking it on and off the stand, but I don't see any reason why it would cause damage. I've had it for several months now, and I'm still happy with it.

Sturdy and quality stand
Excellent item, sturdy and also fits nicely in the front pocket of my Martin gig bag. Easily separates into two halves. It’s great quality for the money and I am happily trusting it to leave my Martin guitar standing on.

Badly Made!
The only reason it got 1star is the packaging which was quite good. The stand itself is really badly made. I can only surmise that one section was made on Friday afternoon the other on the following Monday morning as the slip joint is so loose it just doesn't sit level. If you put a neck heavy guitar on it, it just falls backwards. BEWARE! The so called padding strip is sticky and when lifting the guitar from the stand it comes with you. I would have returned it, but far too much hassle with Amazon returns. Will probably end up as a small woodwork project or firewood.
