Ideal for use in tablets and mobile Internet. Speeds good eb
These are incredibly good value at full price and even more so with discount which brought it down to £2.20 per month for 50GB of data, reset each month for another 50GB. Even if you buy a 4G/LTE or 5G router it is still cheaper than most cable Internet costs. I use these in my Android tablets (which are 4G) and a 5G home router to work as a second network for my cctv, video doorbell and IoT. They work well and it really is just a matter of putting it in the sim card slot and turning on. There is no text or voice capability which means no spam, and when Google tries to set up messages it can't. That for me is very satisfying albeit a childish conquest.

The Perfect Solution
This is a great value / ease solution if you don`t want or need a hard wired wifi solution. This SIM provides wifi actually faster than the office upstairs has hardwired! A superb option, especially for the flexibility of moving around and plugging anywhere there is mobile coverage.

Quick, easy, good value
Arrived 4 hours after ordering. Worked straight away in 5g router. Got 100mbps even with fairly weak 5g signal. Great value.

Useful 3GB data backup sim
Easy to set up, just popped into my phone, works right away, job done. I do have a couple of issues though, firstly when does the data renew each month? I'm guessing maybe the 8th? Secondly there is no way of monitoring your data usage, you just have to hope for the best, that's a problem when your on such a small data bundle, it's very easy to run out. On the positive it is cheap and it works so I'm not gonna complain too much. I would buy again.

Contract free data Sim that’s good Value
This is the 2nd time I have bought one of these SIM cards. I’ve used them for internet access for security cameras. Just installed the sim into my mobile WiFi, switched it on & within a few seconds it had connected to the Mobile Network. I have great connectivity with my cameras & the speed is very good. These SIM cards are brilliant if you’re moving home & need internet access while you are waiting for regular internet provider to go live in your new home. You can pick a sim with the amount of Data you require & also choose the length of time you need. The best thing is there’s no lengthy Contract! I found that there’s all different sims to buy & on different networks you just pick the one you want, pay for it & you usually have it delivered the next day. Highly recommended.

The sim is infected with malware.
Firstly, I have bought sim cards from Scancom previously which have worked as advertised. I keep a couple in reserve to use in my motorhome but for some reason the sim in my iPhone stopped working so I used this. (Although advertised as 'data only' I have previously used them for calls.) When I fitted the sim it received a text confirming what the phone number of the sim is. It then started receiving a string of text messages purporting to be from an unidentified parking enforcement company warning me that I had incurred an unspecified penalty charge on an unspecified date for parking in an unspecified spot, and to avoid being dragged through the courts I must reply providing my car registration number for identification purposes! Having spent several hours resolving my totally unrelated EE sim problem for my iPhone I am not inclined to risk jumping down the rabbit hole of explaining this to Amazon's sentient chatbots (or whatever they are), and since I don't think the problem can be ignored, this negative review may be the quickest way of getting the message back to Scancom

Unbelievably Good Value for Money
These SIMs regularly come up on sale on Amazon, and I've managed to pick up a couple for under £50, both for over 2 years worth of data. Amazing value for tablets or for remote monitoring devices which is what I use them for. Data speeds are fast enough for my needs, and I can remotely login to Raspberry PIs over the connection without a problem - you do need to use a third party service like PI Connect or Dataplicity to achieve this kind of remote access as these SIMs don't provide static IP addresses for the device they are installed in (SIMS with static IPs are really expensive!)
