Sweet, Full of Spice and Fun!
First off I have to admit I read this book out of order of the series, but that didn’t seem to be a problem at all. When yoga instructor Briar is unceremoniously dumped by her cheating boyfriend and thrown out she has no choice but to pick herself up and regroup. Luckily for her she bumps into 3 hockey players, Hollis, Rhys and Gavin who quickly swoop in with the assist.Already booked to do some yoga demonstrations at a festival Briar decides to go early and get some time to figure things out. She quickly discovers there been an error and her rental is double booked with the same 3 white in shining armor Hockey guys. Oh darn what ever should she do. That’s right we’ve got a bit of forced proximity in this why choose romance. These guys are each swoon worthy and hot as can be. They decide to show her how a really good boyfriend should treat her and she soon discovers more can really be better after all.I really enjoyed this book. Each character is so well written you fall in love with Hollis, Rhys and Gavin right away. Briar is also a strong heroine. Yeah she’s having a bad moment in time, but she’s moving forward and discovering so much about herself and what she needs to be happy. Especially important is discovering what she deserves and that she is absolutely worthy of all the love and respect. Now the spice in this book is molten lava. Do yourself a favor and also listen to the audiobook. Don’t hesitate, just do it. Absolutely brilliant work from the entire cast. Bravo!!

Fun fast-paced read
I started this book at 9am and finished it at 2pm. If that’s not a sign of a great book, I don’t know what is. This is the 4th book in Lauren’s My Hockey Romance series. Like the others in the series it is a why choose romance. Briar finds love and acceptance with not one, not two, but three professional hockey players. This was a super fun and fast-paced read. Watching Briar, Hollis, Rhys, and Gavin give into their feelings was both humorous and heartwarming. Each of them had personal issues they needed to navigate, but did so by not only doing the hard work themselves, but learning that it’s also okay to rely on other people who care about you and only want what’s best for you. They all learn that listening is just as important as doing.Lauren does not disappoint with the witty banter amongst her well-written and well-developed characters. Every time I thought about putting this book down to take a reading break, I just kept turning the page instead. I’m sad to see this series come to an end, but she’s set us up perfectly for a new series in the hockey romance era. I can’t wait to read Wesley’s story next.

A Steamy, Quick Hockey Romance
I was excited Briar for her own story. I was a little (plesantly) pleased it also includes Gavin, Rhys, and Hollis. However, I do think this was my least favorite in the series. It needed more tension plot wise and I felt like we didn't get to see all the guys develop as much character wise - and I really wanted to get to know them more (especially Gavin). Still a fun read with lots of steam.

5 STARS! Hot & humorous why-choose hockey romance!
A Lauren Blakely audiobook is always something special, but a fully casted Lauren Blakely audiobook is an experience. Well and Truly Pucked, the final book in Blakely’s My Hockey Romance series, is an immersive and utterly addictive reading event that showcases the author’s unparalleled storytelling skills. Blakely expertly weaves a tale of passion, humor, and heart in this rivals-to-lovers, forced proximity, reverse harem/why choose style hockey romance. Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais and Teddy Hamilton’s individual and group performances were wonderful. Their portrayals of the sensual yoga instructor heroine and the three chivalrous, hockey-player heroes, their witty banter and off-the-charts chemistry came through my Air Pods loud and clear, drawing me right into their steamy encounters and heartwarming moments.Blakely skillfully delves into the emotional complexities of a why choose/reverse harem style relationship, exploring the challenges and joys of navigating a love story with multiple partners. I followed along as Briar and the boys transitioned from friendship to something more, laughing, swooning and rooting for this unconventional quartet to find their happily ever after. With its captivating storytelling, brilliant narration and unforgettable characters, the audiobook version of Well and Truly Pucked is a must-listen for fans of steamy romance and why choose dynamics. Five smooches from me for Lauren Blakely’s Well and Truly Pucked!

Briar and her 3 hockey stars. There’s a lot of heat for sure!
She gets tossed out of her apartment by her cheating Ex who kidnaps her cat. Enter 3 hockey players who volunteer to help get her cat. Fast forward to a reservation mixup at a weeklong festival where all 4 of them have to share a cottage. And then?Briar wants to know what a great boyfriend acts like to enter a contest - revenge on her Ex too. Rhys, Gavin and Hollis volunteer. In all ways. These 4 all have their issues and together they work thru those. They are much better together. This is a full cast audiobook. Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke (as a Brit!), Connor Crais and Teddy Hamilton’s individual and group performances are absolutely amazing. Exceptional narrations! There’s a ton of heat in this book of course but there’s also sweetness, emotion, and a very satisfying HEA.Oh. And Donut the dachshund is a star!

such a great ending to the series
“I guess she’s not annoyed I used her as a shield.”“Well, she is a wiener dog.”When this story started with a hilarious cat rescue with the assistance of 3 hockey plays, I knew this was going to be a memorable story.Briar is trying to put her life together after she was blindsided and kicked out of her apartment by her ex boyfriend. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the problems she is dealing with so she decides to get away for a bit. Only to find herself with unexpected roommate and knowing two more were on the way.All three men have their own connection to Briar and if they are being honest a connection with her. When Briar finds out about a contest that her Ex is having (which was her idea) she decides to enter and the men agree to help her. This leads them all to get closer as they show her how a real man would treat their lady. I loved watching them build those individual relationships but to see them working as a team as their work on their own problems.“We’re family. That’s not going to change.”I absolutely loved this series and I’m sad to see it come to end. I also can’t wait to see what comes next.

Good read
Good read. Good storyline. Would have liked the ex to have suffered a little and shown to have learned lessons.

This was Why-Choose escapism done well!
Briar is a professional yoga instructor whose life falls apart right at the outset. Three hockey-players come across her trying to steal her own car back from her awful ex. They help her get the car and the Why-Choose part begins! This was a light and fluffy hockey rom-com with lots of steam.
