Hey-O! Stories of the Bible (Hey-O! Bible Stories)

This is the BEST Bible! We’ve had to buy it twice because our daughters love it and we read it every single day. It goes well with the YouTube videos, and it’s a nice introduction to the stories. The stories are short enough to hold their attention, but they convey enough of the details for us to ask questions and have a conversation. I can’t recommend this enough!!

Our family loves the Hey-O series! The stories and videos are faithful to the Bible and engaging to kids. I love how easy this book makes it for my kids to learn Bible stories. The beautiful colors and the illustration style make it visually appealing for my kids. They pick this book over and over again for story time.

Love this book. I used to show the videos in our children’s ministry and now watch them with my child. The stories are identical to the videos but in book form. We love reading it as a family and the illustrations are exceptional. I feel very comfortable with how the stories are written, which is important and not always the case. This would be a great gift for a wide age range of kids (2-10 probably).

I don't normally write reviews, but I want every parent to know to buy this book! I went through probably 10 different bible story books with my kids trying to find the right one. THIS is the perfect one! My kids won't go to bed at night unless we read a chapter in this book and watch the corresponding video. (The videos are 100% free by the way. You can get them off of their website or download their app, which is really user friendly.) My kids are 5 and 7, but we started this book at 4 and 6. My 7 year old has started asking questions after we read one of the stories, which leads to conversations that help both kiddos learn more about God. Reading the story and watching the video usually takes 5 minutes each evening, but it's an impactful 5 minutes. I also teach Children's Church at my church and have started using this book and videos as an extra tool for teaching the weekly lesson. I plan on including it in every baby gift that I give, so parents have it on hand when their kids are ready. Don't hesitate - buy it!

My kids are big Hey-O YouTube fans for our morning “Jesus time.” I was so excited when I saw these Bibles. Full color pages, short and sweet stories, and a hard cover. I can’t wait to give them to them!

This book is perfect for elementary students. It has engaging pictures as well as just the right amount of words per page to effectively tell the Bible stories! A must for any Bible based children’s program!

I love this Bible! As a children’s worker and parent I think this is a brilliant Bible. As they are illustrated and created by the same Saddleback Church that creates the online videos, they are well received by children that have already watched the characters in this way. They are gauged for an older child with some stories sharing details that you may not want a younger child to know yet. I ordered these Bibles for my own kids to share and one for each of their cousins too. I mainly chose it due to the illustrations. Yet the stories are also clear and keep the children fairly engaged.

I ordered 2 of these as gifts. One was fine. The other had already been written in.. it was supposed to be a gift.

This is very children friendly and is great read alongside the videos that are readily accessible online. Highly recommended.
