As a musician, I wear a tux at work sometimes, and I've been living with one of those miserable neck strap "hook and loop" bow ties. It comes loose and falls open, and it's hard to get it centered and keep it in place.It seems that clip on tux ties went out of fashion for a while. I was very glad to find this one. It has a nice satin finish, and the clips are nice and strong. Good price, too.

I used this for work one time for a 10 hour shift . I had to remove it 2 times and put it back on and it loses its clamp. it won't close down .

It looked good but kept falling off as there was not enough grip at the point of contact of the collar and the clip.
