My battery quit charging. I thought maybe the cable had come loose but that didn't seem to be the case. I ordered this battery and it's very easy to replace the old one. Disconnect the power and loosen the 8 screws on the back of your laptop, pull the back off. Take the battery off, 2 screws (these come all the way out, I use a magnetic phillips head for these, and pull the cable from the connector on the battery only. Rerun the small cable on to your battery and plug it in to the battery. Put the battery back in, it sort of snaps back in to place. Put the two screws back in. Put the back on your computer and tighten the screws. You should be good to go. Mine is working great now!!!

I have a Dell N5040, put it in when I received it to make sure it was compatible. It fit perfect, was 75% charged, holds a charge, was delivered on time. My Dell AC charger wouldn't charge it however I had ordered a new universal charger as well, hooked it up and it works perfectly. Great price too! Dell wanted $33 for a refurbished battery and didn't have a brand new one at all.

The battery size fit perfectly and the battery life is about 3-4 hours of active use. Great value for the money!

The battery did not charge in my Dell Inspiron 5502 laptop even though the product description indicated it would work.

Just got the battery today. It came extremely quick and fits my laptop, Dell Latitude E6520, perfectly. The battery was at 78% on arrival and took about 20 minutes to charge to full. It lasts about 2 and a half hours before needing to charge again. Its not super long, but I can’t really complain as my previous battery lasted only about 45 minutes before dying. Good price for a quick fix. UPDATE: Its been exactly 7 days since Ive received and used this battery. Unfortunately it isn’t holding up as well as I expected. My laptop (regardless of what battery life percentage its at) will suddenly shut off and the battery light will blink as though it’s dead. I thought that I had mistakenly forgot to charge my laptop, but I realized today that wasn’t the case at all. This morning I made sure to charge my laptop for class, and out of no where it just shut off. When I powered it back on it was at 95% This has happened a couple different times since Ive had the battery. My laptop would never do anything like this before, and it seems that the battery gives out after being on for a certain amount of time. Im still going to use the battery as I don’t really have other options at the moment, but for anyone looking to purchase be prepared to take a risk.

As per instructions, it works like it should. Only time will tell whether it is a 5 star bargain or not. This battery replaces a battery that was bought only a year and a half ago, it too worked great for a year and then did a 1% per day battery capacity reduction, and even with a new power supply would not stop the countdown death. I bought the last battery at Microcenter, it was not a Taupo battery.
