Wow! Very impressive
Wow! I am incredibly impressed by this knife. The build quality is top notch. The materials are excellent. The Vosteed Nightshade is my all time favorite knife, so this one having many similarities caught my eye. I love the look of the knife and appreciate the button lock. The initial sharpness is very good. The plunge grind isn’t great, but at the same price I got this knife for, I cannot complain. I love 14c28n and expect this will retain an edge well. If you can get this knife for under $50 it is a no brainer. Such great value. I’m glad I caught the sale on this knife and took a chance. It’s beautiful. I love the titanium color of the aluminum and the blue accents. The one real con that I’ve noticed outside of the plunge grind, is that the back end of the knife is a little sharp. Like it wasn’t chamfered enough. You probably won’t notice most of get time, but when you do it’s mildly uncomfortable.

Upscale
I have purchased about 100 folders in the past several years price $20-200. This knife stands with the very best of them in all respects. Construction is superb. No sloppiness, yet it operates as smooth as can be. The carbon fiber handle is solid carbon fiber, not a veneer glued onto G-10. The flat grind is done excellently. Button is smooth. Blue screws and pivot are a nice touch. About the only thing I am not enamored with is the clip. While nicely done, it is pretty stiff and unbendable to personal tastes. My final comment is about the out-of-box sharpness. I am a knife maker, and grew up in a sharpening shop. I know sharp. This is the sharpest factory knife i have ever encountered. I would call this one "scary sharp" and I don't use that term lightly.Oh, and the blade shape and feel in the hand - makes me smile. This is a heckuva nice knife.

Good budget knife
I purchased the 14c28n aluminum handle version for a discounted price of $36.Good: I really like the design and blade shape Blade is centered. Multiple deployment options. Overall quality for the price is excellent. Looks and feels like a knife that costs more than what I paid for it.Not so good: the detent is kind of weak, so deployment with the flipper tab isn’t snappy. The clip is noticeable in hand. My thumb doesn’t find the thumb hole so easily but reverse flicking is fine.Summary: Good knife for the price. No regrets. The design is the biggest appeal for me. I just received it and haven’t yet carried or used it. I’ll update if time and use changes my mind.

Great life, looks great, aluminum scales aren’t grippy.
Great knife. Looks great. My only complaint is that the aluminum scales can be a bit slippery.

Almost a great knife
Build qualityFit and finish of the knife is very nice. The aluminum handles feel very smooth and well finished without being overly slick. The anodized hardware looks really nice and gives a good little pop of color. Blade is centered well, only a tiny bit of side to side play, and came shaving sharp.ErgonomicsThe hand feel is pretty good. With medium to large sized hands it provides me with a comfortable full grip. With minimal hot spots you can feel the hump on the back and the pocket clip a bit but only if you're really gripping it tight. The jimping is phenomenal, has very tight and shallow cut outs that create a very comfortable yet very grippy surface. Honestly some of the best I have felt on a knife.LockLock up seems to be pretty solid. Button functions smoothly and doesn't hang up.ActionThis is where the knife really let's me down. The action just feels extremely lazy. The reverse flick feels fine and the cut out is well done for it. Thumb deployment takes some getting used to but it is completely doable. The rear flipper tab is the big problem. You really have to come off the very back on the tab at the right angle to get it to consistently deploy. Even when you know this it can still be easy to fail it. It just really feels like the knife isn't working with you and consistent deployment is all up to you.ConclusionThe nicely finished aluminum handles and 14C28N blade are a very attractive package for the price. And the fit and finish for the price is extremely good. But the action just really kills the knife for me. I will say it's serviceable but I couldn't recommend this when there are other knives on the market for similar or less cost with substantially better action. If a snappy action isn't a big deal to you and you just really like the design of the knife go for it. But I would say to look elsewhere.

Who is fintiso??
I don't know were this company came from but they really made a pretty perfect knife with this one, and I'm guessing a couple others as well considering the reviews and ratings I've read. I'll be on the lookout for more from this Maker. Great knife.

Good not great.
Flipper is often too weak and reverse flick often feels too tight and prevents opening. When you motivate it with wrist flip, the action is butter smooth. This blade came razor sharp. Nice knife if you catch on sale. I'll keep it but wont recommend with its stiff detent but weak flipper.
