Works well

Works as described. Punches a 3/4" in 1/4" mild steel easily.

See the above caption when I first got it, I punched three or four holes, and it worked fine. Then I want to use it in the very first hole. It went down to the plate stopped and smoke started coming out of the rear of the machine. I am plugged it I will except for an hour or so and figured I’d try to get it seem to work OK I punch just a couple holes but there’s definitely something wrong with this.. I have a feeling it’s just gonna quit next time and that’s gonna be it. I tried to contact the company but have not heard nothing back yet, so obviously I’m not very happy. I do have used for one of these in my shop.

Unfortunately the description is off. The photo shows Unistrut track as a item that can be punched. It doesn't fit as the dies are to wide to clear the lip of the unistrut. Doesn't matter if it's the thinner 15/16'' strut or the thicker strut. That was the main reason I purchased this electric punch. I already own the 30 ton manual hydraulic punch which is also too big, but i knew that in advance.

Saves time and drill bits

I've punched over 200, 13mm holes though 1/4" steel and have had no problems.

Zero stars! This thing has no power. It doesn't do what it says it will do. Another Chinese defective rip off!!

The punch and the die does not line up and the holes has burs due to the oversized die to the punch.

The cast body of this item broke at first use.
