Good tasting, works effectively

These biscuits basically contain the metamucil fiber which normally people used as powder dissolved in water as an after meal supplement. Since I love the flavor of dark chocolate I find these to be flavorful way of getting additional fiber to help support good digestion, particularly when I am consuming harder to digest meals with high content of meats and heavy sauces. Each serving of 2 wafers contains 5g of fiber which is sort of minimal but it does help, and it alleviates the boredom of having to take yet another fiber capsule or a not so delicious drink with dissolved fiber powder. I also eat these as snacks during the day between meals instead of reaching for the jar of cookies. Price points wise they are not cheap compared to getting the powder and there are no larger packs available for a more economical price. Manufacturer should consider this and offer better prices for higher quantities. Overall a very good product, also available in other flavors (apple, cinnamon spice).

My family are long time Metamucil users. My husband uses it to control IBS, I cannot tolerate statins and use it to help control cholesterol. I have used the wafer version for years, chiefly preferring it for it's portability. Normally, cost dictates flavor. If Apple Crisp is cheaper, I buy Apple, if there's a better deal on Cinnamon, Cinnamon it is. I was so excited to see the new chocolate flavor that I parted w $10 for the privilege of trying it. The Chocolate is Fabulous. It find it similar to the Oreo cookie without the cream filling, The texture is smooth, not at all gritty. My Dr recommends leaving a 2 hr window on either side of taking medication so this is my 'brunch' snack. My daughter in law has an early morning start so it's her breakfast. There has been a $1 coupon off initial purchase and the price has been $7.44 consistently which is pretty much the going rate. So, good product and good value on Amazon.

Bought one box. 4 out of the 12 packs were not packaged correctly. Three packs had one cookie when supposed to be 2 and one pack had 3 instead of two. Was shorted product and complained to mfg and all they did was send me $2 coupon to buy more product that may be short in box. Not happy.

The item was as expected, however the shipping time was atrocious. I won't be purchasing this item again on Amazon.

Good flavor and easy to digest with water. One serving is one packet of 2 wafers which is 4g of fiber equaling 15% daily fiber intake. My only concern is that this quantity has 1.5g Saturated Fat due to the alkalized (Dutch) cocoa and the palm oil (Palmitic acid). The other 2 flavors, Cinnamon Spice (which one reviewer at the P&G site likened to gingerbread) and Apple Crisp, both of which only have 0.5g saturated fat. Guess I’ll try one of these next.
