Offered in various sizes, these wood signs are hand-crafted in the Great State of Tennessee from reclaimed maple sawmill slats. Made from rough-sawn timber and left with some of the rustic charm, it’s not unusual to find small dents and dings in the wood resulting in a true one-of-a-kind piece. Our smaller signs are made from a single slat and have a wire to be used for wall mounting or folded back to create a stand for table, desk, or countertop display. The larger signs utilize two or more slats of various lengths. These are joined together from the back with runners being nailed and glued to secure them together. A length of hay baler wire is passed under each runner and is used for wall display. Our larger signs also include a stand allowing for display on any flat surface. Simply insert the dowel rod into the hole on the stand and it’s ready for use. These dowels are meant to fit snuggly in the hole and may require additional effort to secure in place. Lightly tapping with a mallet usually does the trick.
