Nokta Find x Pro I am an experienced detectorist and currently own eight metal detectors, I bought the Nokta Find X Pro simply because it is fully submersible. However I rapidly discovered that this detector out performs most of my others, even though it is described as a beginners machine, and is so much more simple and straightforward to use, but is also much better constructed than all of the others. Although I have yet to use it underwater, it works to perfection on land and in shallow water, and in two hours of searching a location which I have detected many times before, it found items missed by other detectors - see photos below. The Find X Pro is a complete bargain as it come with the SX28 coil which alone costs the same as the whole detector if bought separately, as well as with a Nokta stainless steel digging tool which retails at around £25! This is an amazing detector from a good European maker and in my opinion is the only detector that you will ever need. Unless of course you are the type of person who needs a ‘Status’ machine! It will locate a buried Victorian silver shilling at around nine inches depth, and I was digging up tiny airgun slugs at three inches deep. The only downside to me is the rather weird tone, but I can get used to that. Fully recommended, this one will be permanently carried in my car boot as it collapses to just about two feet long, can be recharged from the car USB socket ( built in battery on this fully waterproof detector), comes with a really tough hold-all and is ideal for searching rivers, pools and offshore from the beach - I love it! ps, only the Pro version is fully waterproof - why do they even bother to offer the non waterproof model, which has less features?

The Nokta FINDX PRO Metal Detector for Adults works really well and has great detection depth. I’ve only used it twice so far but already found coins on a beach, which was impressive. It feels solid and robust in use. The only downside for me was that the headphone connection kept cutting out, which is a bit annoying.

Only tried it briefly to see if it's ok, seams to work well, Picked up the plates in the wife's leg, but not been in the field yet to make my fortune.

My first detector so I’ve not got anything to compare it to. So this is my first impression. Seems pretty well made and is easy to put together and take apart if you want to transport it the supplied holdall. I’ve been out with it a couple of times and it’s quite easy to use. Headphones don’t look like they’re going to last long though.

Good detector for park land not been on the beaches with it ..the headphones are useless ..the cable broke when I went to dig the first hole ...I now sure if u can get cordless headphones for this detector or not but corded headphones are not the way to go for this detector..on the other hand I have had hammered coins with the detector cannot fault the detector.

It feels solid, good Quality materials. Just making a air test, later I will go outside e test it there.
