Great radio with good range
These are great radios, easy to use and good range particularly suited for the rural environment, Note that these are not toys and you will need to buy a license (currently £75 for 5 years (2015 uk price) so if you don't want to pay for a license you need to look at PMR radios but they have one tenth the power output of these and correspondingly shorter range). If you are in an urban setting the Mitex UHF General may be more what you need due to the frequency differences
