My knives started to rust a bit unfortunately, but apart from that they are good.

The scissors broke within 1 week of using. All knives black handles became grey after 1st hand wash!

Better than any knifes sets including the much more expensive sets. I had all kinds of knifes sets including one that cost me$1000 dollars from a well known brand. I kept having to sharpen them consistently by a professional. I had just bought another less expensive from the same brand and the knifes were too heavy and cumbersome to work with. So I return them. While looking for a replacement, I came across a 14 pieces set from Hanmaster and I bought them. I am here to tell you that this inexpensive set is outstanding. They are a fully tang and so well balanced. The quality and construction rivals any knifes in the market. The edges are perfectly sharpened. I tried them by cutting vegetables, meats, and deboning a chicken, everyone of the knifes perform superbly. Even the boning knife stayed very sharp after being in contact with bones. I am so pleasantly surprised that this unassuming knife set (because of the price) is way up and above most expensive sets. I highly recommend the Hanmaster knifes set.

I could not be more impressed with this knife set, especially for such a reasonable price. The craftsmanship is outstanding, including blade balance, sharpness, and finish. The wood block is as solid as a rock, nicely finished, and perfectly designed. The scissors and sharpener on the side are an added bonus. What more can I say?
