My dog received one of these for his birthday. He has had similar chews before, but they haven't lasted long. He is a Border Collie who loves a good chew. This lasted a fortnight in its original version (a record) and the puffed up version from the microwave was like a very strong honeycomb lasted another couple of days. Good quality and size and not greasy. Too expensive for an everyday buy but good for 'special occasions'.

It has become her emotional support dairy brick, her chewable soulmate, and the reason she now has a secret stash under the garden stones. Every evening before dinner, she performs her sacred ritual: trots outside, sniffs dramatically around the patio like she’s reenacting a crime scene, and buries the chew with the seriousness of someone hiding a winning lottery ticket. Then she returns inside, sits by her bowl, and gives us all a look that says, “The treasure is safe. Proceed with kibble.” Human snack comparison? Imagine giving someone a single square of chocolate and watching them treat it like a sacred relic. Now imagine that chocolate is made of Himalayan cheese and could break a window if thrown. That’s the vibe. And now? The chew is down to a tiny, sad little nub—basically a cheesy pebble. But does she give up? Absolutely not. She proudly carries it around like it’s a trophy, parading it through the house like, “Look what I’ve conquered.” It’s within an inch of its life, but she’s not letting go. I half expect her to frame it. Then this yak milk chew is a must-have. Subcription required, because god forbid I have none available on demand.

No awful smell and the XL size looked solid if only about 6” x 1” x1”. However my Leonberger had demolished it within 30 minutes. She absolutely loved it and keeps looking hopefully at the remaining one, but at £19 for the 2, I need to keep it as a special rather than daily treat. Not sure is a large or medium would be a safe alternative in case she swallows it. Such a shame they don’t last AND are so expensive. I guess I shall have to limit them to weekly treats. Otherwise they seem a real hit with my girl.

I have a 1 year old Lab X who is a very aggressive chewer of his toys, treats, chews etc. These Yakers chews are the only thing that will entertain him other than frozen Kongs for any length of time. I buy in pairs as I have purchased in bulk boxes of 10 but found the chews inside to be very brittle, and large shards shaped off from them, almost like they had been sat too long? I know of dogs that make these chews last a good week or two - mine lasts about 1-2 hours which means they are very expensive, but my pup LOVES them and they keep his teeth nice and clean, his gums healthy and are genuinely the only things that he can really gnaw and nag at and 'chew'. Other chews we get end up being treats as they are devoured in seconds, these really stand up to his jaws. Also worth mentioning he has a sensitive tummy and it doesn't take a lot to disagree with him however he digests these perfectly and they have never given him an upset stomach.

We get these every month or so for our frenchie. Sometimes they come broken, and if dropped break very easily. I use these as a replacement when other, better quality, ones are out of stock.

Couldn't rate these more highly. I have a Shiba who won’t tolerate me brushing her teeth. This is the perfect solution. They last months, she seems to love them and goes for a chomp everyday, and helps clean the teeth right at the back of the mouth. If your dont wont let you brush these are a must buy 👍

The quality of these chews seems to have changed. The last two I have had have not been to the same standard. Sharp shards ( of about 5cm) have sheared off the sides of the chews when my dog has been chewing on them. I obviously don’t want him swallowing the sharp bits, so have taken it away from him. Will now look for an alternative supplier.

A mis dos perros les encantan!!! Y además son duraderos; por ejemplo un hueso de cuero prensado no le dura mucho mas de una tarde; con Yakers tienen masticador para un mes aproximadamente.

Come quello medio le mie cagnoline lo hanno davvero adorato. Si passano il tempo e si divertono a smangiucchiarlo. Lo ricomprerò sicuramente. Arrivato in tempi garantiti.grazie
