I’ve tried alot of products to help with crown thinning. This is the best one so far. Still transfers but it’s less noticeable than other options. Doesn’t itch and washes right out.

First and foremost, this is the best dry shampoo iv ever used. If I was just rating that, it would be 5 stars hands down. BUT only the original white dry shampoo. I ordered that first and it was phenomenal. So I wondered if they had a brown color, which they did. So I thought, awesome, this will better because I am a brunette... WRONG. Do not get the brown, just get the original and rub it in. The brown is a mess and every time I touch my hair my hands are all brown. My clothes get brown. If I workout, my sweat is brown. Do not do it! Get the original! And I think the colorless makes my hair feel a lot better

I really like how easy this is to apply, how small it is, and it does work as dry shampoo should. However, after applying (and until washing my hair), if i so much as run my fingers through my hair, my nails and cuticles and fingertips are completely brown. I wish there were a way for it to not transfer as easily.

My wife bought the dark brown one. The powder mostly sticks to your scalp and when she washes her hair it will spill dark fluid everywhere making it difficult to clean up if you have white tile and linen. The container is not secure, and it happened to be open easily when she tried to open the sponge cap. That caused a disaster on my white vanity and white bathroom rug and floor. You will likely need significant amount to eliminate the oily appearance of the roots, which leaves a dark scalp as mentioned above. Overall, she doesn’t recommend this product for travel or frequent usage at home.

I'm a self proclaimed dry shampoo connoisseur. I have tried EVERYTHING. My hair is naturally oily (thank you genetics!) and needs a lil' help throughout the day. El cheapos, expensive salon-quality brands, drug store aerosol cans, whatever Sephora/Ulta Beauty has, various powders, you name it have all filled my bathroom shelf. No joke, probably tried 35+ different brands. This, my friends, is the REAL DEAL. As a dark rooted haired girlie, the struggle is so very real to find a dry shampoo (even if it's specifically for brunettes), that doesn't make me look like a white powdered hair version of George Washington. No matter the amount of blending and brushing, you could always see a trace of a light powdery residue in my hair - especially in natural light. ;( I am beyond grateful (thank you hair gods) to find this gem. I'm never going back. Period. I often stock up in fear Amazon will randomly stop carrying it. The dark brunette color matches my hair perfectly. It even adds a tiny bit of volume, which I gladly welcome. I feel so incredibly confident throughout the day. Please, I beg you, never stop making this. The only con is the packaging. It can be a little confusing if it's your first time. ONLY lift the top lid. Otherwise, you're opening up the jar when the powder sits - possibly spilling product. if you can avoid that, you're golden.

Tried the brown since it matches my hair. White one works better. If you touch your hair in spots the powder is applied it'll get on your fingers or under your nails should you have to scratch your head. Since the powder is brown it can be seen on white or lighter cloths. Also wouldn't be a good idea to get hair wet or cought in any rain.

I am not someone who can go more than a day without washing my hair and dry shampoo in a can helps but not like this. I used this product and wash able to make it 3 days without washing! I used the white powder and it does need to be worked in or leaves a dust on your scalp, so I am excited to try the brown powder. I recommend if you have oily roots!

excellent product. Better than others on market. Will repurchase when needed. One drawback - residue gets on fingers if you touch your hair.
