I've just received the pattern book and have not had a chance to start the project. But looking through all the directions, etc. it looks like I will be able to do the project with little of no problem. Eleanor Burns patterns, etc. are easy to follow.

I really like the book and was glad that it was available. The dresses of the different countries were outstanding

I new at quilting and Quilt ina Day Sunbonnet Sue Visits Quilt in a Day by Eleanor Burns gave the most and easiest instructions for making a simple quilt for a beginner that I have found so far. Quilt in a Day Sunbonnet Sue Visits Quilt gives all the information that includes picking out co-ordinating color schemes, how to make templates and how to use them on the fabric in the most economical way, little templates were included for the excessories and information on the embroidery stiitches suggested for the peices made, and sewing instructions if you are unfamiliar with using a sewing machine. Very simple and easy to understand sewing instructions with pictures for those who are beginners. I am a beginner at sewing and was able to make my first Sun Bonnet Sue quilt that turned out adorable.

Useful book, good size patterns to copy, Ideas for use of materials and clear how to instructions. Added bonus of patterns etc for Sam her 'boyfriend' as well.
