Farmstead Apothecary, Butter Body Lemon Lavender, 8 Ounce

I purchased this product for a friend that loves the scent of both lemons and lavender. I had high hopes, despite there being multiple reviews warning me of the products not smelling as promised. It smells nothing like lemon or lavender, although the scent isn't entirely unpleasant. The body butter also leaves a slick film on your skin rather than soaking in and moisturizing.

The gardenia strawberry scent is AMAZING! It feels amazing on my skin while not being greasy. I love this!

It is creamy and just thick enough leaving my skin just a bit better. Oh, and pleasantly scented too. I never would have thought citrus and rose would work so well together.

The gardenia and strawberry smell nice, that is, each smells nice but together they don't really work. I've been using it for a while so the smell is starting to grow on me. Be that as it may, I don't find the moisturizer very effective on my skin. It's the same hydration as using regular lotion. Not what I expected from a body butter.

Great body butter! Wonderful smell - without being overkill. A tiny bit goes a long way. Awesome environmentally friendly packaging and cruelty-free!

Great product. Use this as alternative to more expensive Lush's Dream cream. It did the same job of smoothing and soothing my son's eczema.
