OMG! Beautiful picture! I now have my own home theater. I even got installation for only $115. This tv compliments my central wall and compliments the fireplace below it. The size is perfect, I was nervous that 98” might be too much but it’s perfect! Watch my favorite movies on this beauty! The price was affordable compared to years past and it smoothly connects to components.

I purchased this TV, and it was severely damaged. The screen had several cracks in it. There was a gash in the back of the TV panel. I called customer service about it, and they said there was nothing they could do because I was days past the return window. The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying the picture quality on this enormous Tv is exceptional. It really is amazing. Everyone knows Samsung has been putting out great products forever but they really outdid themselves with this one. The Crystal UHD technology puts this tv right up there with OLED as far as beautiful imagery. I used to think I’d have to spend a minimum of $5,000 to have an awesome tv with a crisp, bright picture full of vibrant colors. Boy, was I wrong! This wonderful tv was practically a steal for what I paid. Very reasonably priced. I was amazed by how a tv this large only weighs 117 pounds. Made the whole process of bringing it upstairs and mounting on my wall much easier than anticipated. The sound quality is excellent, too. To be honest, I barely need my soundbar as this tv gets pretty loud without one. I don’t know if I can properly express how happy I am with my purchase of this wonderful 98 inch Samsung tv. It’s a great deal and if you’re looking to upgrade to a massive tv with the same picture quality of any you’ve had in the past without breaking the bank, go for it! I promise you won’t be disappointed in this wonderful tv. Just buy it …

The Samsung DU9000 is a fine edition to a media room or a large family room. The 98” diagonal TV fills a large wall. Go to settings, put the TV in Dynamic mode, and enjoy 4K and HDR clarity. You can even watch multiple football games at the same time.

samsung is known for having fragile tvs, and this is no exception. First one, they didn't deliver, because it was broken before they put it on the truck, they delayed the order 2 weeks. scheduled to deliver on a friday, they showed up 2 days early.. luckily i happen to be on my way home early that day.. white images, on the screen you can see a 2 small 3in long imperfections at the bottom of the screen.. probably where the ribbon cables attach to the screen. nobody notices them but me.. of course, because i paid for it... its a 4k 98in tv for a fair price.. not top of the line...

What an absolute hassle trying to get hold of one of these at the $1999 price point. Amazon pricing is all over the map and knee-jerk reactions to put the prices up due to tariffs really caused issues. That said… I am pleasantly reassured Upon arrival that it meets the expectation of a Samsung television. I have 5-6 in the family and the interconnectivity is very nice. The apps are well supported, and the picture quality is as you would expect for the resolution and brand. It is a shame that content streaming is not always up to the high resolution the screen can handle (Even in 2025) however, when you find content that is at the resolution, it is a very nice picture. Is it the highest available the latest technology no; but think about it for a second. 98 inch screen replaces my 110 inch projector and screen set up and now I can watch it during the day without the screen being washed out That is something worth talking about. I am looking forward to connecting to my Philips hue light system, which will allow the light and color from the television to bleed into the area that I’m sat, making the experience more immersive.

the tv was damaged out of the box. The box was not damaged, had to be packed that way from the factory. Too many of the TVs are damaged and someone need to check what is going on. Bought another and it was damaged also these TVs are not the quality you would expect for the money. They take your money and keep it as long as they can before they give you your own money back. This is just unacceptable from amazon and Samsung, we deserve better

The first TV arrived with both the box damaged and the TV screen damaged however Amazon worked quickly to resolve the issue within a few days I received a replacement another company called Maersk pilot called and took away the old original TV I am now the proud owner of an amazing picture quality 100 inch TV well done Amazon.I did see other customers who reported they have received broken TV units and one of them took too long to report the problem and has suffered the loss himself so I would say take plenty of pictures and very quickly report any issues as Amazon obviously have contracts with these delivery companies who I think broke the units so look at and test your product is fully functioning very quickly
