Owala FreeSip Twist Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle

This is a great water bottle. I got it for Black Friday (so in case you want to wait for a lower price, I got it for around $20). It is easy to add water to as it has a separate screw to add water and to sip/drink from. The size is very convenient for traveling and can fit in an average cup holder. The loop handle allows me to attach it to a backpack via a carabiner so it won't fall out. I haven't experienced any leaks, and the water remains cold all day.

I freaking LOVE this water bottle! It was a little bigger than I expected, but it holds the perfect amount of water for me. I have really small hands so the 30 oz was probably going to be way too big for me to carry around comfortably. I normally like a water bottle with a handle, but this one is so much nicer. I like that it has the string on top to carry around and a silicone/rubber piece around the top, which makes carrying it around easier. And don’t even get me started on the color. 😍 It’s seriously so beautiful!! It doesn’t hold ice for a super long time, but it does keep my water cold all day and the built in straw still blows my mind! lol. It definitely lives up to the hype. I did drop it in the sink when I first went to wash it and a very small piece of the color chipped off, just underneath the lid. But, I've been using it for a few weeks now and haven’t had any other problems. Great quality water bottle for $20!

Arguably the best Owala on the market. The size is perfect to fit in most cup holders including my car, which is great since I found that most Owalas don’t fit in the cup holder of my car. It’s pretty easy to clean by hand or you can use a dishwasher for some of the parts as well. It also keeps my water VERY cold all day, even if I don’t put any ice in it. In addition, it’s definitely 100% leak proof because I often will toss it into my tote with my laptop and other electronics and it will never make a mess. I’ve had it for several months now and still highly recommend it.

My daughter introduced me to Owala. These beverage bottles are great. I bought several for Christmas presents and 2 for myself. Wide variety of colors and sizes. The built in straw works like a charm. They’re very good with temperature control, and prices are reasonable.

If my wife says she loves if - then it has to be a winner. She loves her water bottles, and when I realized she hasn’t put this one down or replaced it, that it had to be of high quality and functionality. I was able to snag this on a Black Friday deal for a great price - but I’d be buying this even if it was on sale. The dual action of the straw and sip works flawlessly. Making drinking or sipping water so easy. We haven’t had any leaks and has kept the beverage cool the entire time. Overall, fantastic bottle and would recommend to anyone.

My favorite brand of water bottles! What else can I say? It's an Owala with sip and chug in one spout and I love them! Most Owala's don't have 24 hour cold but this one does. I only wish it came in 32 oz size since I drink about a gallon in-a-half of water daily. 10/2 update Not arthritis friendly! I've taken away one star for this Owala bottle because it's difficult to clean. The lid has several pieces that must be disassembled to clean properly (no biggie). The problem is that the main piece in the lid is very difficult to remove. You have to pull it, hard, to separate it but there's not much room to get a grip on it. I had to use pliers to get a good enough grip to pull it out. I covered the piece with cloth so that the pliers wouldn't damage it and pulled fairly hard and it popped out with no problem. Keep this in mind when deciding to purchase or not. I watched reviews on this after I bought it to see how people disassembled it and they said you had to pull hard and one lady showed how to do it. Maybe it's because I have arthritis, but I just can't get a good enough grip because of how small the space is between it and the inside wall of the lid. I couldn't pull hard enough with only one finger and my thumb to get it to budge. Other than that one problem, this is a good water bottle, just not a favorite in the Owala line. If they designed that one piece differently, with a hole going through it so that a string can be inserted into it to help pull it out it would be perfect. If the hole was large enough, the finger lanyard could be looped through it to help pull it out.

I am absolutely in love with this water bottle. I go through water bottles way too often because they either break, get gross, or start leaking, but this one has been amazing so far. It feels heavy-duty and very durable, which immediately set it apart from others I’ve owned. I was originally drawn to the different color options (I got Dreamy Field), but what really sold me was the two drinking options - you can sip through the straw or take a regular swig. It’s such a simple feature, but it makes a big difference depending on what you’re doing. Plus, I've found it makes drinking water so much more enjoyable lol! Another thing I really appreciate is the rubber seal. It’s much thicker and more heavy-duty than the thin seals on most bottles, so I don’t have to worry about spills or leaks at all. It feels very secure. It’s also easy to take apart for cleaning, which is huge for me since bottles can get gross fast if they’re hard to wash. The size is perfect - not too big and not too small - and I love that it comes with a built-in strap at the top for carrying. A lot of similar bottles don’t include that, and it’s surprisingly annoying when they don’t. I haven’t tested it with ice yet, so I can’t speak to that specifically, but my cold water does stay cold for a long time. Overall, this is a great bottle that looks good, feels high quality, and is very practical for everyday use. It's totally worth the money and definitely one of my favorite water bottles I’ve owned.
