Product great, the packaging not so much.

Loved using these, if you keep your hands clean and clean the strings after use, they last a fair bit longer than normal sets. Tone stays brighter and clearer a bit longer than normal. Great for recording! Probably slightly over priced but feel a lot nicer to play than standard D'Addarios. I'd say using these is personal and subjective. If you can afford to buy and notice small differences in tone and feel, I would reccomend. If you don't or are not bothered by such things, dont bother.I personally loved using them with a freshly cleaned neck.

The sound when using this strings is very nice. It really sounds rich, with a bit of a metallic ring to it. But... after three months, the G string snapped, at the exact point it touched its post at the head.Some background: I play every single day, but never for more than two hours, and always at home, in a smoke-free atmosphere. I bend my strings, but almost never more than a whole tone. I also clean the strings regularly with a soft cloth. One more thing: I use Grover locking tuners (if that makes a difference).In honesty, for a brand that brags about durability and confidence, I feel they should have lasted longer.

They last couple of days.
