This is fantastic as I was always losing my old style tyre gauge. It’s insanely accurate to the MM and wouldn’t go back to and old depth gauge. The quality of it is great as it’s compact and well built. It’s simple to use, just ensure you reset too 0 after every check. Great value for money.

Fairly basic thing but easy to use and works well.

This is a very handy little tool and is easy enough to use but a little fiddly. I like that they give you a spare battery. A week before receiving this I had my tread measured at a garage so used that to judge how accurate it was.My rear right tyre reading matched the garage's reading exactly. I have a brand new tyre on the rear left so should be around 8mm I had readings ranging from 6mm - 7.5mm. Which seems a little off.My 2 front tyres were both measured at 4mm each at the garage this reader was slightly under 4. I think there is a technique to using it but I am unsure just how accurate it is but it certainly gives you an idea when your tyres need changing.

This product is so good, cheap as, really decent quality and lasts forever. The last one I bought lasted three years. So worth as try!

Very professional good presentation

I've only used it a few times and it seems fairly accurate however, lost 2 stars because it is quite flimsy and seems cheaply made and the battery life is extremely poor. I appreciate you get a spare battery, but overall maybe including a higher quality battery in the first place would be more efficient.

It is cheap and does what is claimed. Any slight movement of the plunger turns it on, so carrying it in your vehicle will mean it will use up its battery quickly. I always remove the battery and put it all back in the box.It does need zeroing each time - but that is quick and very easy.I am trying to find out how the data port works. The data port is on the opposite edge to the battery compartment. It might be helpful for other applications to take readings automatically, but I can find no description. Does anyone know? The connector doesn't look like a Digimatic, so I assume it is not Mitutoyo compatible......

Basic digital tire gauge. Works in both standard/metric and even includes an extra battery. Will purchase again.

easy to use & easy to read. ditched my old manual "analog" gauge.

First thing about this tread depth gauge is that is highly visible. Second, is that it came with a spare battery which is nice. Third is that the display is nice and big for viewing. Can be switched between inches and MM's. The instructions are clear and well written. Other than that it seems to be similar or the same as other tread depth gauges on amazon. You can't go wrong buying this gauge. No 32nds though, but I think if your measuring 32nds on a tire you should just change them out!
