Calamari Salad (Chuka Ika Sansai), Frozen - 4.4 Lb

If you have ever ordered squid salad in a restaurant, this is the same at a very reasonable price. That said remember this. They do not give you an exact shipping date. It ships frozen FedEx overnight and they do not give you a heads up. Even though it is packaged well, it willl thaw out in route.July 17. So good I ordered it again. This time I was vigilant and knew exactly when it would arrive. It was packed totally different and this time the gell packs were still 80% frozen. Thank god for FedEx.

To start, it’s exactly as you would hope it’d be - quality, flavor, ingredients, etc. - classic Chuka Ika.*If you order, may I suggest adding in a bit of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil (+ Sriracha) to get that truly enhanced & familiar flavor.Shipping was much faster than promised, and packed perfectly to keep frozen and ensure freshness. Comes with shown plastic container, and two pre-packed (sealed) bags of Calamari Salad.It may seem expensive, but retail 8 oz. portions at the store cost more (relative to price of this product), especially in the Midwest.Very pleased with the what I received, thanks so much!

Delicious! A bit pricey and not very spicy. But the salad itself is yummy. I would buy this again.

Either the squid was cooked too long or frozen too long but the texture is just awful. It’s merely not pleasurable. I will never buy this product again. Totally sucks.
