Expensive but worth it
It’s expensive but does such a great job for video calls.

Good modestly priced product
Not bad at all. Something that is not made clear is that when connecting via USB the max light output is limited to 40% due to the limited power supply from a USB socket. To get 100% output it needs a separate adapter - like a powerful smartphone charger, and then it would be controlled over wifi rather than cable. The control software is very easy and even at 40% there is a lot of light, best suited for being quite close to the subject. I have 3 of these that I use as a Side Light, Edge (hair) light, and to properly light a particularly annoying part of my green screen. I have the big Elgato Keylight as my main light source to light my face. The diffuse light area is nearly 6 times the size of the Neo. The Neo light can be controlled by the software on computer, on a smartphone, or with a Streamdeck. Unlike many other lights it also has physical controls on the light that can be used with the computer is off - that's a very handy feature. Overall - a nice product. But with special offers on the larger Elgato Keylight sometimes getting as low as £115 that would be a better light for only a little more money, and the larger one comes with a desk mount too.

Works great, Hasn't triggered a migrain which I was worried about.
Works great I only use it on the 2nd setting from most dim. Was worried as a migraine sufferer if id get on with this product. But so far it hasn't triggered one. Nice that you can control the light manually using the buttons and dials on the product itself.

Very pleased.
I initially purchased just one of these Key Light Neos and was really pleased. First, I downloaded the Elgato Control Centre app to my computer via their website. Then I plugged the light into a USB port on my computer. But ... I only got 40% brightness (400 Lumens). Which is bright. Just not the light's full potential. So I did some research and found that to unlock 100% brightness, I needed to plug the light into a mains electricity supply (via USB A or C. The supplied cable has both options). So I plugged it into a USB port on a standard multi-socket extension lead (that has 3 pin sockets and two USB-A ports), and this did the job. Because I was so pleased, I bought a second Key Light Neo. I plugged it into the same extension lead, but instantly ran into a problem as the brightness on both lights dropped back down to 40%. I looked up the requirements and realised the issue: while one light could draw enough power on its own from the standard multisocket extension lead I was using, running two lights would need around 15W to run at 100%. The electricity power is fine. It was the USB ports I was using that were too basic. Instead I needed to be using FastCharge USB. So I have now ordered a 200W GaN Fast Charger Block (£30). Way more power than I need to run the two lights but I think it will be useful to have it for other devices that need fast charging. Also a note re Stream Deck integration - I was puzzled about how I would control the lights using my Elgato Stream Deck if the lights weren't directly plugged into my computer. But it was easily solved. Simply download the free Elgato Control Center app to your Stream Deck (via the Stream Deck Marketplace) and also to your Iphone/Ipad etc (via the Apple Store or Google Play). Then use the App on the phone to have the light join the same wifi network. Essentially, now I have the Control Centre on my computer, my phone and my Stream Deck. Not that you need to do that. You can control the light with the physical buttons or app on your phone etc. Now that the lights are set up I'm really pleased. Especially controlling them via the Streamdeck (you can control both together by using MultiAction Switch to turn them on and off, and Multi Action to change the brightness). Hopefully, once the USB Fast charger arrives, I will also get 100% out of each light, although tbh two lights at 40% is fine for my needs. I just got the two to spread out the light. Highly recommended, but if you plan on running two lights at full power you wiill need to consider the power source. Update - the 200W GaN Fast Charger Block arrived, and the lights work perfectly, with 100% brightness if needed.

Pricey but ok
It’s not cheap, but I’m not sure I got more value for the price. The lighting is ok. It helps under certain conditions. I probably would buy something on a lower price point.

Neat and well thought out but a couple of drawbacks at the price
A neat video light that produces reatively bright soft light ideal for complimentary lighting your face. Controls on the front are a rare nice feature! There are a couple of drawback to the dsign: the stand included is monitor mounted. On top of your monitor it is too close to light contours of the face evenly so effect is no better than a desk lamp at that distance. It's also realtively large compared to other lights and makes your monitor look cluttered. At the price, you might get better results by paying just a little more for one with a stand OR pay less for a more compact monitor mounted light

Can get very bright or dim! Great for streaming! Cool white or warm white adjustable and if you have the elgato stream deck you can customize it right from there!

Office worker here (not streamer / content): expensive however well worth it if you have a Stream Desk. New office area for me. With spring here and that pesky bright sunlight I needed a way to manage wash out & other visual annoyances without necessary closing blinds / curtains etc. Works amazing. Sadly, presentation still matters. And with the Stream Deck, no fiddling when "live".

I got the Neo to replace an O-Ring Light which would always play up. The Neo is plug and play. Works everytime.

5 stelle piene.
