I love that this organic, hard-to-find, antioxidant-rick black sorghum is only 22 cents per ounce! This plastic jug holds 6 POUNDS of sorghum, not 16 fluid ounces that one might get if it were a jug of milk or juice. The company seems to be having a hard time correcting Amazon's error. I really like that they used this jug, it will make it super easy to store and to pour! Looking forward to cooking up a super-healthy pot of sorghum tomorrow, yum!

I generally have avoided grain because of the carbs and gluten.I LOVE this black sorghum! I make up a week's worth in the Instapot and put it in the fridge. The resistant starch feeds the good gut bugs and besides is incredibly tasty. I make poached eggs and put them on top of the sorghum and nutritional yeast every morning. I've been doing this for 10 months and notice the difference indigestion and energy.I soak the sorghum for 24 hours until it gets foamy. I've been told this helps minimize antinutrients. Also, refrigerating starches supposedly reduces glycemic impact. I'm a nerd and took blood glucose readings and found that to be true, FOR ME!Even if you are not a foody or concerned about gluten and type 2 diabetes, this is just plain tasty.

Update; I purchased this item for healthy pop corn option, then it didn’t pop & this wasn’t disclosed until I inquired, the response I got was this product is not suitable for a popping but I still wanted to be fair to the vendor so here is my update:Today? I cooked it & it is very good & yes, I not only recommended, but I will purchase again.
