I was making Birria for the first time and wanted to try a mix. I bought one at the store and bought this one from Amazon. The difference was night and day. This mix has deep flavors. the birria came out amazing. I then started to use this mix in some of my soups to enhance them. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is really the price. About $20 for two spice balls. And, they came crushed, so I had the weigh out the mix to get the correct measurement.

These were very expensive. It was cool to try but I don't think I would purchased again. The flavor was good but the sauce was really giving birria taco. it was so thick. Not worth that kind of money

I've always been on the fence about making birria because it seems hard to get right. These bombs made it so easy. I had about 5.8 pounds of roast I cut it up into chunks seasoned it with a little Lawry's, onion powder, garlic powder. I cut up a little onion and added it as well. I used both bombs so I did 4 cups of beef broth and 2 cups of water. I put it in the pressure cooker for 45 minutes, I added a little cajun seasoning and cooked it for another 20 minutes. This birria is so rich and flavorful. I would definitely make this again

Update: Ok, after trying this I am changing it to a 5 star. Delivery sucked but Dang!This turned out good and was easy to make Birria that saved a ton of time and money not having to buy all the ingredients. Just made 6lbs of meat to use the entire bag.Have not used this product yet but when the package arrived. The bag was crushed flat and the orbs were reduced to powder. It is not the end of the world will just have to make a bigger batch and use the whole bag. It would be nice if they had it somewhere on quantities of product to use. Besides just dropping in one ball/orb. Kinda hard to do with powder. Even tried going to the nutritional label but it just lists fractions of an orb. Not very convenient.

brown meat, drop bomb, i used my pressure cooker and in two hours i had tender tasty taco filler and the left over juice was gold, i put it on everything, i even put it on dog kibble and i have two very picky pups and they loved it, not spicy in my opinion but everyone has to judge that for them selves. highly recommend.

Makes tasty birria. Handy, but pricey.
