I had some feral kittens I was trying to catch and adopt out. Setting up this trap was quick and simple. Thankfully, they entered the trap relatively easy. It is solid construction and works great. I was able to catch the kittens and they now have great homes. The trap is easy to store - folds down for storage - so I can be ready for next time.

I’ve tried to capture 4 different feral cats. The kitten was too small to add pressure onto the sensor. The 3 adult cats were able to get to the food without triggering the sensor. My boyfriend even rigged it by tying a shoe late to some wood that held the trap door open. When the cat went into the trap he pulled on the string that was attached to wooden block and the trap door came down but the cats butt kept the trap door from shutting her in so she escaped. I recommend getting a bigger trap. Not happy with this one at all. Should be easy and simple but it’s not.

It was easy to set up. Its built well. Highly recommend for trapping cats to TNR.

I have a lot of feral cats in my neighborhood I trap and spay and this cage is a fool proof set up even for people wiyh zero skills like me. The cover is the best part honestly. It absolutely calms down the cats during transport and in the office. I've had vet techs and vets comment on how great it is! Easy to use, doesn't rust ( have had mine over 2 years now) great investment

I used this to trap a small raccoon. Within minutes the animal completely destroyed the attached cover that was properly assembled around the cage. The metal on the actual cage bent and was very cheap. It is not safe to transport animals in a cage they may be able to bend and escape in. Very disappointed.

The 3 tiny clips that are crucial for attaching door were floating in the bottom of the box. They weren’t in any packaging at all. I almost threw them away with the box. I have yet to try it out. I would guess a towel would hv to cover the trap plate. I could see how a feral cat would be super suspect of it, and not step on it. They would just put their front legs over it and get the bait. We’ll see. Took me over an hour trying to figure out how the door attached until I heard the clips in the bottom of the box when I went to throw it away. Box came closed with big staples so, at first, I thought the light clinking noise was just loose staples from the box. It does close fast though when the plate is triggered.
