This kit met our need for a large waterlily pot. There wasn’t quite enough potting medium, but we already had some, so it worked out. The pot is VERY heavy once it is filled with soil, water, and a plant. Be sure to already have it as close to where it will go into the pond as possible before potting your plant. Also, plan to wear gloves you can get wet when you pick it up to lower it into place in the pond, as the edges of the pot lip are sort of sharp and. because it is heavy, it will be very uncomfortable on your hands without gloves. Our waterlilies did great in these larger pots with enough fertilizer tabs.

Highly recommend The Pond Guy. I can't imagine going any place else for advise or product. Everything I needed for planting my first water lily. For pond care they have put everything together with easy to follow instructions. My pond has gone from green algae to clear and healthy for my fish and turtle.
