Defective product
I have a pretty significant Home Assistant setup, with over 70 zigbee devices, so I am familiar with the technology. This device just didn't cut it. Not only would it consistently drop from my mesh, but it stopped alarming all together when it was on the mesh, and it would just "groan" a weak sound. I tried it with several USB power supplies and cables, and that wasn't the issue. I wound up building my own device to achieve the outcome that I had hoped to obtain from this.

Works well with Zigbee2MQTT
A lot of the other reviews seem to be people who don't know much about Zigbee devices. This siren works totally fine with Zigbee2MQTT and Home Assistant -- it shows up as a Switch + 2 Selects (volume + melody). To pair it, hold down the reset button above the batteries until it starts flashing. The batteries also work as long as you open it and pull out the tab which keeps them disconnected. The volume is ok, it's quite loud but not as deafening as a "real" alarm system.

Okay
I had to buy a gateway to get this device to work. I didn’t pay enough attention when I ordered. However the device worked great once I purchased the extra hardware.

Not impressed
This is completely useless without a "hub" but they only tell you that in the product instructions AFTER you buy it. Oh, those instructions? They are so small you need a magnifying glass to read them! Oh, that "hub"? Yes, they sell several types and not all are compatible. UPDATE: Finally got the information on the correct hub. This is max 60 decibels, NOT 100. It has batteries, but will not work unless it's plugged in.

Suena despacio. Puede servir como timbre, pero para sirena de alarma es un chiste.

Good Customer Service
I couldn't get it to sync with my Zigbee gateway, but the vendor was very cooperative with the refund, hence the 3 stars. The customer service was good, which counts for a lot in my opinion.
