Versatile, Bright, Super Convenient
The first thing to know about this item is that it has a feature I've never seen in another headlamp: It has a motion detector built in.That may seem a bit odd, but when you think about it it's really handy. When you put the headlamp on motion detector mode, especially over a hat, you just reach up and wave your hand by the side of your head to turn the light on or off. This is really handy because if you're talking to somebody it's obnoxious to leave the light on blinding them, Well with most other headlamps it's a headache to reach up and turn them on or off.And it *will* blind them potentially. This headlamp has two major modes, and several settings. The first mode is a band of LEDs all the way across the front, basically along the forehead . This is perfect for illuminating a large area if you are working in a space that you need to see in places other than where you are directly looking with a directional light. And as long as you don't look at people's faces, your light can serve to light up a large space for others. This forehead mode also is handy for simply hanging the headband overhead, either pointing up and reflecting off of a cieling, or pointing down to illuminate an area.In all modes there are multiple levels of brightness. An alternative mode has a directional more traditional flashlight attached to the side of the unit. (It works better on the right, but it could work on either side.) This is the mode I prefer when I don't need to light up an entire area, because it illuminates only what I'm looking at and then with a wave of a hand the light turns off when I don't need it anymore. It's a heck of a lot better than juggling a flashlight, even for a quick look-see.Add in the fact that these are rechargeable, quickly, via standard USB Cable and they are even more excellent . Most good headlamps gobble batteries. Here, the battery is reusable CAVEAT: You will like these. If you spend a lot of time working under low light or flash-lit conditions that you may run the battery down (it lasts a good long while and I haven't done it yet but it's possible) . . . Given the reasonable pricing you may want to have two of these for each person so that you can have a fully charged one as a backup, or one charging while one is in use.BTW I have ordered a 4 pack of these before and love them, and keep several in our truck and our tack shed and other places.

IDENTICAL product, same review
I already own one of these - just from another manufacturer (also available on Amazon that was in fact one of the very first items I tested as a Vine reviewer (Gabrella, available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2YTFPNK?th=1).... In fact, it appears a lot of manufacturers jumped on this particular train which makes me wonder if they are all ultimately coming out of the same factory and distributed from another. The only differences I find in these in comparison to the one I own is the obvious in that:1-you get two for nearly the same price (that admittedly makes me suspicious though in terms of quality... maybe there's a reason why there are two... but we'll see).2-it doesn't come with helmet clips (which actually I think was a good move since I only used the clips on my other one once). What I didn't like about the one I owned was the buckle and how poorly the headband stayed in place (i.e. it would constantly loosen so I would frequently wind up having to readjust and tighten it). So when I saw this one, I thought perhaps this version (buckle and fit) had improved on these shortcomings. Nope. Same issue as my other one. I do have to readjust and the buckle once again is INFERIOR - folks (UNBON), this is an inexpensive item to address... PLEASE replace the buckle with one that will hold the headband in place better.. I beg of you). However, my review comments are the same as the other brand in that it is VERY comfortable (once on you hardly notice it's there (except for the light of course), it actually kind of acts like a sweatband which has been great with my photography while heading out to the site. It's super bright and the reach is excellent. Once again, I get the whole motion detector thing... Some people may really like it (it is in fact convenient), but I find it nothing more than an annoyance. Just like my other one, EVERY single time I wear a ball cap with this while the motion detection feature is enabled, when adjusting my hat I am absolutely guaranteed to inadvertently turn on or off the light which to me is just aggravating. But again, to each their own. If you are a person who would like this convenience, you will definitely like this feature.Once again I am a bit skeptical about durability, but in every other way, it performs just like my other one so I definitely can recommend this product. Five star? No... not with what I consider to be design flaws... Four stars? Definitely! I keep one in my car now at all times. I do REALLY like these headband LEDs!
