Mount came with all hardware needed and was as described. This might might be a little difficult for novice handy-people as you need to make sure your alignment and placing is perfect, including level, as there is no adjusting this mount. I was very careful to get the mount attached to the way at the correct spacing and exactly level, it worked perfectly and I was able to mount my the OLED I got for my parents, which wasnt an ultra slim, as close to the wall as possible. I would not recommend using this if you have any doubts about your ability to mount things to a very precise degree.

Fantastic mount. Super easy to install. Very close to the wall. My favorite feature is that you can unstick the magnets and access the TVs ports very easily.

One flaw, the two separate pieces make finding studs difficult. One continuous bar would be better.

The mount works really well. The instructions aren’t the best, but if you look over the instructions and realize that you only need to drill into 1 stud for each mount, preferably into one of the 3 holes above the mount “hook”, and one other hole in each mount with a plastic anchor or toggle bolt, just to keep the mount level, you’ll be fine. So if you don’t have studs evenly spread at 16” it will work. The weight of the tv is being held by the wire hook, so if the hook of mount is securely held to the wall with one screw in a stud that’s sufficient. If you’re hanging over at least 1/2” drywall you can actually use appropriately sized toggle bolts to secure mounts to the wall. Hope this helps. Some of the other reviews insinuate the instructions have to be followed exactly, because the mount is made for Asian construction, nonsense.

This is a great low-profile mount for a large (98") TV. I bought this to wall-mount a TCL 98QM9K television. I bought the TV from Bestbuy which included a promotional "wall mounting service up to $330" but didn't include the mounting braket. The bracket arrived quickly, about a week before the TV was delivered. Sadly, Bestbuy's Geek Squad said the braket was "not compatible" with the TV and they refused to mount it. They said this bracket "will only work with frame TVs", even though it exceeds the Vesa 600 x 500 /121LBS standard listed (for this TV) on TCL's website. In the end I mounted the TV myself, using this braket; it took about about 45 minutes and most of that was measuring for height/level and finding studs before drilling. From what I can figure, this mount leaves little room side to side for error when mounting it to the wall and Bestbuy's employees are lazy / unqualified. I bought the TV through Bestbuy specifically for their mounting service promotion (it was the same price as buying from Amazon or the manufacturer). I'm 100% a disabled veteran with back, leg, and arm issues and I DID need to take extra pain meds after trying to lift the TV onto the mount). I'm very disappointed with Bestbuy but very happy with this braket.

I will preface my review with I got the mount installed in about 45 minutes but it took rather extensive modifications which some people may not be able to do. To put it bluntly, this is a Chinese mount meant for typical east Asia construction that they're trying to foist on US homeowners. Let me explain. Most US construction is 16" in center studs. Which means any mount should at the very least be able to span a 16" distance to allow multiple even anchors. This mount can only grab a single stud on either side of a TV. You will have to rely on a drywall anchor and that is just not a proper method to hang a TV. I ended up drilling through each mount side to get two vertical bolts through a single panel and then some heavy drywall anchors. This mount only has a single row to run anchors through. The reason for this is it's designed to be anchorwd against a concrete wall, which is typical east Asian construction method. Buyers need to be aware of this because that's the reason this item has a "high return rate "

Interesting design. Very tight fit to the wall. Easy to put the tv up once the bracket is installed.

Excellent, bit fiddly to fit properly. I put this on a plasterboard wall with special load bearing fixings and into the studs. Holds up the 42" absolutely fine and it's very flush to the wall.
