Storytelling at it’s finest
President Clinton is a great writer and I applaud his humanitarian work alongside Hillary and Chelsea. If you’re interested in a very detailed account of their work, this book is for you. I forgot how long winded Mr. Clinton can be, but he makes his points clear. A very long but interesting read.

A Model Citizen
First as president and later as a private citizen, Bill Clinton was and still remains a dedicated public servant who’s tragically misunderstood and regularly maligned in today’s post-truth world. This volume, which focuses largely on the charitable ventures of Clinton’s post-White House years, is the story of a humble and honest man who sincerely wants to help people live their best, healthiest, and most prosperous lives. Ever since he became a household name in the early 1990s, Bill Clinton and his family have been viciously and systematically maligned by uncompromising Gingrich-era Republicans, who later morphed into conspiracy-wielding Trump worshippers. That partisan environment of the 1990s seemed very unfair to me, when I was a teenager, and so I decided then and there that I am a Democrat. In Citizen, Bill sets the record straight and tells it exactly like it is — just like he has always done. Chances are you’ve heard about Clinton’s association with dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Don’t believe everyone who lies to you. If you believe that the Clintons are murderous or diabolical, or that they could ever harm or eliminate anyone for revenge or to silence them, you obviously should read this book and disassociate promptly from the individuals or corrupt media sources who are lying to you. Citizen gives readers a glimpse of Clinton at his most heartfelt and humanitarian. Whether the chapters are about Clinton providing assistance to victims of natural disasters or negotiating peace in the world’s most volatile places, he clears the air with a refreshing look back at the many charitable organizations he has launched since leaving the White House in 2001. This book is easy to read, and Bill Clinton’s writing style is as on-point and powerful as his masterful oratory skills. Clinton’s love of country is reflected in his compassion for the American people. Sadly, the age of Clinton ended in the early 2000s, and the reprise we were supposed to get, in the form of President Hillary Clinton, had been sabotaged by antagonistic political forces both at home and abroad. Once out of office, Bill Clinton took his mission overseas, trying his best to save lives and improve living conditions for as many people as possible. Even after all that Clinton has endured in his life, he remains an iconic figure in Democratic politics. Published in late 2024, Citizen may offer defeated, disillusioned Democrats a chance to reflect on what works and what doesn’t. Bill Clinton’s 1992 election marked a major comeback for Democrats, four years after a stinging defeat. In Citizen, Clinton once again is offering Democrats a template for a comeback. But will they be wise enough to take notice?

I wanted to read this as soon as I saw it had been published
This helped me to understand things I couldn't before I read the book. My only complaint is I found it difficult to remember what all of the acronyms stood for. Otherwise I truly enjoyed it.
