exactly what I was looking for

Very easy for me to follow along with the steps and a great book for beginners like me

I have had some instruction on how to make hemp jewelry, or surfer bracelets, hippy bracelets, etc. etc. So this book worked very well for me. The projects begin simple and work into more elaborate ones and they cover everything shown on the cover (so give that cover photo a close look! Is this what you want to make?) If you are buying this for yourself or your teen (or near age teen) then bear in mind that some actual showing them how to do this in real life will be necessary. If they (or you) have made anything simple (like that lanyard you made in summer camp?) than you've probably enough beginning skill to go right into the book. There a couple of beginner videos on You Tube that work to bridge the gap too. Also note: there are many very nice 1 mm and 2 mm COLORED hemp twines at your local craft store and on Amazon.com that make the projects in this book look very very nice. So enjoy!

The lady at the hospital loved it. It's sad when there are long term people staying at the hospital and nothing to do. It helps when people gives craft stuff out.

Wish I knew before I purchased a very small magazine like a flyer you can get at your local supermarket . Every type of knot or braiding the shell explanation is horrible pictures OK but there’s only a few examples I was expecting more.

Love the bookIt has quite a few different kinds of knots for you to learn to make the bracelets/necklace/anklet they have in there.Unfortunately, the illustrations they use to show the steps aren't very easy to follow...I had to show my mom(shes a craft genius!) the illustrations and have her show me how...I recommend not getting this book...there are 2 or 3 different hemp jewelry books on here that have easier to follow instructions

This book was really easy to follow with simple instructions for beginners and patterns once the basic knots were learned. I have made quite a few of the projects and would recommend this book to anyone who wants to try macramé.

Images were in colour, had a good ammount of projects and knots for such a thin book. its more like a magazine and its from the 90s. im not dissapointed, the price is a tiny bit steep for a 16 page book but overall im pretty happy with the purchase!

This book looks ideal for me. I have not made anything yet but it has lots of ideas and explains things clearly. I can't wait to have a go.
