The media could not be loaded. Using a Smartphone for filmmaking means you are far more mobile than a conventional film crew. However, when it comes to recording your sound, you can limit your mobility with wired microphones. These connect to your Smartphone by cables that can constrain your freedom to move around as well as restrict your own movements too. The logical solution to this problem is of course to use a wireless microphone, which uses a transmitter and a receiver.I do all my products review videos using my phone, and used a simple wired Lavalier for the audio recording. However, after getting a new Samsung phone, going from the s10 that has a 3.5mm audio port on it, but now upgrading to the s22+, I was right away confronted with one major problem: All newer phone model doesn’t have 3.5mm jack port on them anymore, but instead a USB-C one, which serves as charging port for the phone, but also audio input (with the right adapters).Now, if I was considering upgrading from my simple wired microphone to a wireless one, I needed to find a good system, without having to break the bank, getting that expensive Rode Wireless GO II.The SYNCO G1T is compact lightweight wireless microphone system for Android (using USB-C connector) that will give you quality broadcast audio for your Smartphone videos. The transmitter is similar to the Rode, since it is a small and compact microphone that you can clip to your clothing. If you don’t like to use the built-in microphone on the transmitter, you can plug in a (not included) Lavalier microphone instead. This can be less intrusive than the transmitter microphone and not as noticeable on clothing. You simply hide the transmitter in another location on your body, and you will be good to go.The G1T’s receiver plugs into your smartphone’s USB-C port. It is light weight and takes up little space when connected. In fact, you can even use it with a Smartphone gimbal without upsetting its balance. This is useful for those who want smooth shots when using their phone. And good news, the receiver needs no batteries for power. It gets its power from the phone itself, so you won’t have to worry about it running out of power.The whole system runs on the 2.4Ghz frequency, which seems to be the popular choice for this type of wireless microphone system. You shouldn’t have too many problems using it but you should be aware that this is a line-of-sight microphone. Don’t expect it to work miracles if you walk into another room. However, I tested it in open air at around 40 meters (132ft), and I never had any drop in connection. I believe it should still work fine further than this though, as it’s rated for up to 492ft/150m.The microphone will pair right away with the receiver, as soon as both are powered on. But if it’s not the case, simply pressing the pairing buttons on both devices for a few seconds will fix this issue quickly. I also loved the voice changing effects included with this microphone system, which is actually rare to find on any other model like those, and thus, one of the main reasons I went with this model instead of similar others.Please note that in the video review I keep saying “GT1” instead of “G1T”. I don’t know why my mind keep mixing up those letters when reviewing this product. Maybe it sounded better that way?... 😅

The media could not be loaded. These mics are amazing. They sound quality is insane for the price tag they carry. They are so easy to use right out of the box. All you have to do is plug the receiver into your phone and turn on the transmitter (the actual mic) and they immediately connect and are ready to use. The distance they can get from the receiver is honestly further then expected which allows me to easily use them for however I need them. I definitely would recommend these to anyone looking for wireless mics that have great sound quality without breaking the bank!Edit: I have started using them for a short film I have been working on and these mics are exactly what I needed. They make the hustle of getting good sound quality extremely easy and need little to no sound editing following the recording.

Overall:Clear sound, lightweight, a bit of a learners curve.Negatives:The packaging is nothing special.The draw string bag to store the items in is cheap.There is no hard case to store them.I had a difficult time setting them up. The first time I plugged them in and everything showed connected, they did not work. I went to the manual and read it two or three times trying to figure out how to fix it. By a guessing method I figured out how to disconnect and then reconnect (that was not covered in the manual).The plastic feels cheap. Right where the light bar is, I was able to press in the plastic, almost like a button that was supposed to be there.The receiver moves in the lighting port when you press the volume button, which I’m assuming led to some clicking sounds when I was recording.Positives:This mic set up is lightweight.The receiver fit into the lightning port even through my case (a mid level otterbox case).When I got them working they produced a good quality sound from a distance (behind closed doors with a tv going in the background). I could hear the tv in the background but it was decreased for sure.Extra Notes:The microphone on your phone is disabled during use, which is great, as you can’t hear the camera man changing grip or anything. But that does mean that if you are doing interviews, you’ll need two microphones, not just one.

Wonderful performance

This microphone delivers perfect sound quality directly to your USB-C connector for no fuss recording of single speaker videos, at a great price.I record a daily video series of various people preaching "A Word of Hope", so I need a microphone that works for a variety of people in a variety of settings. Cell phones work great for the video, but you really need a microphone on the person to get clear sound. Up until now I used a Rode Go, a great microphone that connects via wifi to trs or trrs jacks. But my new cell phone does not have a headphone/microphone trrs jack, only a usb-c. You can get an adapter, but then the setup gets complicated. Instead, the Synco G1T steps in and fits my needs perfectly.The fact that is connects wireless through wifi gives great freedom without the sound quality hit you take with UHF microphones, and the fact that I can use it as a clip-on or connect a lavalier lets me adapt to a variety of clothing situations, voice volumes, and background noise.The only things that could be better is that it would be helpful if the USB-C charging port could double as the usb-c output, and it would be helpful if there was some visual indication of the output volume (it has three output levels, but no visual indication of which one you are on). But I highly recommend this microphone for real world digital recordings like podcasts and videos and vlogs.

Acquistato perché volevo registrare qualche video da telefono, la scelta è ricaduta su questo modello che ha la porta usb c anche sul microfono, quindi dovrebbe potersi caricare anche in funzione prolungando la durata della registrazione che da quanto ho letto dovrebbe aggirarsi sui 45 minuti. Inoltre il ricevitore ha anch'esso una porta usb e permette di caricare il telefono nel caso di registrazioni molto lunghe. Si riesce a collegare anche con un telefono con cover.All'inizio pensavo non funzionasse ma poi ho visto che sull'app della fotocamera del telefono andava selezionata la fonte di registrazione. Durante la registrazione si sente il click quando si entra in modalità normale o soppressione dei rumori che funziona abbastanza bene, rumori molto forti si continueranno a sentire ma la pulizia dell'audio è migliore e non perde di qualità.Ottimo anche il l'antivento anche se è un po' difficoltoso da sistemare per bene.Per il resto sembra molto plasticoso però la registrazione è molto buona

Ho da poco avviato un canale social in cui parlo di auto e per migliorare fin da subito l'audio ho deciso di acquistare questo microfono. Facile la sincronizzazione e la capacità di usare il registratore senza ulteriori app, comodo il topo per migliorare la qualità del suono, unico neo il peso stesso del microfono in quanto lo immaginavo più leggero.

This is a great Mic, reliable and fantastic sound quality, the only con is the dead cat, it was knocked off by my camera bag without me noticing. But, if you keep it 'inside' your jacked on a windy day, it has the same affect of reducing wind noise. For the price compared to named brands, it's well worth the money and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this brand again.

ProsIt's well made, good voice reproduction, excellent range, easy to connect.ConsCarry case is appallingly cheap. The sound effects are laughably rubbish. The wind muff (deadcat) comes off a little to easily.

A fantastic low-cost wireless mic. Simple to set up with an existing smartphone (I used my Galaxy S21), without the need for a portable recording device/pre-amp etc. Do yourself a favor, if you are recording video with your camera's onboard microphone and are looking to up your game without breaking the bank.. Consider one of these :)
