UPDATE: The gas alarm actually went off today. Luckily it was a false alarm from some alcohol that spilled nearby (apparently that's a thing) but at least I can say for a fact that they work! Very cool, I love how it talks to you when you plug it in. Keeps the temp and humidity and of course the gas alert feature is the most important. (Luckily) I can't say how that works because we haven't had a gas leak, though everything else about it tells me it would be accurate.

It is 100% accurate, small with a very modern design. The only thing it lacks is that it will not measure temperature in Celsius only Farenheit. (No big deal) I recommend this product Buy with confidence

This gas detector works well and provides clear, helpful information. The screen stays on all the time, and I do wish there was an option to turn it off, but overall it has been reliable and effective.

This Alert saved our home. A burner was bumped on the stove and we were alerted immediately. It was loud and clear. It is in use everyday.

I don't recommend as these do not work. I've had these for about a year. During construction in my kitchen, the contractors did something wrong. My friend noticed, but I did not. We had just come back after a night out. All four gas detectors did not alert. These are all plugged directly into outlets, not extension cords. I test them every 1-2 months. No error codes. One detector is right by my stove, another next to my gas dryer, one about 2 ft away from the furnace. More recently, my son left the stove on around 9p. We awoke around 6a to the whole house smelling like gas. Again, none of the gas detectors went off. It was so bad we had to call the fire department. They measured the amount of gas in the home and told us that we could not re-enter for at least 45 minutes. This was after we opened all windows, doors, and had 3 fans blowing air out. I'm unable to get a hold of the seller, and I'm not able to return these malfunctioning detectors.

Not only does it read if it gas in the truck. It also lets us know the temperature.
