I like this bin, but preferred the Amazon one as you can't keep the lid open and it's not so easy to keep clean as the Amazon. But this bin opened the right way underneath the kitchen sink and it wasn't as tall as the Amazon one, so I could lift the lid up by hand quite easily. For messy rubbish or a lot of it, I lift the bin out of the cupboard and put the messy rubbish in a separate bag, holding the lid up with one hand and putting the rubbish in with the other. Quite a nice bin, does the job, fits in lovely, shame the lid doesn't stay open and it's made of plastic not stainless steel.

Great product. Well made. Looks good. Opens and closes nicely. Bags fit nice and snug round the rim. Just ordered my third one of these for another room.

Just big enough to collect kitchen waste products before putting into large bin.Disappointed having to lift lid as thought a spring lid would have been useful.Easy to empty and keep clean.

It's a bin, does as expected and is the usual high build quality from this company. But be aware, there are more expensive versions on Amazon as they include the optional legs you can attach to the bin. These cheaper versions don't have those but they do have the bracket to wall mount it. Still it will keep my dogs nose out of it!

It is good but smaller than I was expecting so make sure you check the sizes properly.

Great size, wipe clean very easily, got it for half price because the packaging was damaged. It’s for my bathroom so it won’t rust like other bins do.

This is a nice little bin, ruined by a very bad lid design. As another poster said, the lid does not open to 90 degrees, so it's awkward removing the inner liner. the hinge mechanism is just "click on" plastic hinges, and the "soft close" mechanism is a single small plastic part that will be unlikely to last a week I suspect. On my very first opening of the bin after unpacking it, the hinge on one side of the lid came off, and out popped the soft close mechanism part. Despite the good looks, this is just bad value from Brabantia whom usually make decent bins. Beware that it's also a manual open lid (not a pedal push), so keep that in mind before you consider purchase.
