I really like these. I read through all the comments and honestly I think people expect perfection which no product is going to supply. But these work well, are not that hard to fill with liquid - even with a measuring cup that has a little spout - and hold up pretty well during use. It does take a little effort to push the frozen pops up for eating so for younger children you might need to cut the top off in which case just don't think of them as reusable but rather as disposable. I'll bet you buy ziploc bags all the time and don't concern yourself with reusing THEM. This is a convenience item albeit a terrific one. I plan to reorder and keep some unused ones on hand to give out so other people can try them. I don't have kids. I just bought them because I like popsicles myself. This lets me control the calorie content and the quality of ingredients. I recommend getting the neoprene sleeves too otherwise you will have cold hands ! I would like to share a tasty filling idea for those who are interested. I tried mixing coconut water plus lime or orange juice, a tiny amount of stevia and about 1/2 of a small container of Dannon Activia vanilla yogurt - just enough to turn the liquid cloudy. (I was using up leftovers). It made a very tasty pop - the orange was reminiscent of the dreamscicles we used to eat as a kid and the vanilla flavor was just enough. The lime was also great. Both are tremendously refreshing when you come in from the heat. And if I am not mistaken I think coconut water is a healthful way to replenish electrolytes.

Great product.
I’m sure I chose these based on some blogger’s recommendation as I was looking for some good adult freezer pop recipes. I made these to share with friends after a hot work day at our camp and everyone loved the pops and actually thought I had bought them. The bags are durable and I appreciate having the fill line indicated although you could get away with maybe half the head space allotted. Definitely remember to freeze these vertically in the freezer until solid, then they can be stored horizontally. I was concerned that the zipper might impede extracting the pop through the opening as zip bags tend to pinch in at the corners, but this was not an issue at all. These are disposable but I’m sure they can be washed in hot soapy water and reused if you’re using them for your own household. Would buy again.... In fact I did just to have a good supply on hand. Everyone enjoyed the pops so much I know I’ll be making more batches in the near future.

Easy to use
I chose these over the other, disposable brand, and now that I've used them, I'm glad that I did. Nice and sturdy, they stand up well as you funnel-fill them and the zip-closure is well-designed so that it zips without a fuss. I should know; I just made 36 pops! They seal tightly, and the plastic is thick, but packing your finished pops in a gallon freezer bag should ensure that they don't pick up any funky freezer odors, and make them a lot easier to wrangle. Keep a wider-nozzle funnel on hand if you plan to make pops with anything thick, like yogurt or puréed fruit, as I did. The included funnel is wee, and definitely made for juice. No kids in our house, just eco-conscious grown-ups who like a frosty, healthy treat now and then, and these should easily last a couple of summers, at the very least. Would definitely recommend!

I was looking for a way to recreate Go-Gurt pops for my six-year-old's school lunches as close to the "real thing" as possible. I found ZipZicles while researching online and figured for the price, it was certainly worth a shot. I had very little problem filling these up with fruit-flavored yogurt. I puréed the fruit in my Magic Bullet first, to prevent any fruit chunks (which I imagine would be difficult for kids to suck out of these) and after mixing with homemade vanilla yogurt, I carefully filled each ZipZicle to just below the fill line. Before filling, I blew air into each ZipZicle to open it up for easier filling, which definitely helped - I forgot to blow into one before filling and it took me twice as long, and resulted in a bigger mess. I used a small kitchen funnel, which kept things neat and made it much easier to control how much went into each ZipZicle. I will say, though, that I've spent a lot of time filling Squooshi pouches and other squeeze-type food containers, so if you're having trouble with ZipZicles, it should get easier and quicker with practice! After filling, I rinsed off any excess yogurt and sealed them, then squished them firmly to ensure the seal wouldn't explode - so far, no problems. I store them in the fridge in an old GoGurt box I'd saved from before, which keeps them neatly stored and easy for little hands to reach. Comparative to GoGurt brand tubes, which only hold 2.25 ounces of whatever concoction Yoplait is calling yogurt these days, these held between 2.6-2.8 ounces each. They can be a little tricky for small fingers to open; I spent a few minutes showing my son and having him "practice" before I packed one in his school lunch. He was super excited to have his own homemade "GoGurts" and apparently told his entire class about it, and later told me that his "GoGurts" tasted way better than the store-bought ones. Score! :) I've also used these to store pizza sauce and dressing in our homemade "Lunchables" and I plan to make some freezer pops this week. My husband even stole a few to ice some cupcakes this past weekend and raved that ZipZicles were easier and offered more control over his decorating than our $50+ icing bag and tip set! I can definitely see a LOT of uses for ZipZicles. The one downside is, they aren't reusable or dishwasher-safe. For some reason, I had thought they were reusable before ordering, but once they arrived, I realized they wouldn't last beyond maybe two or three uses. I sacrificed one to test in the top rack of the dishwasher and as I expected, it didn't hold up. So if you plan to use these all year long, invest in a few packages! We probably won't be purchasing anymore, because we're fans of reducing our waste whenever possible, so I'm currently looking for a reusable alternative. If ZipZicle could produce something very similar, but reusable, I would definitely be all over it!

Really good! **UPDATE**some sealed shut
These are awesome! I just used them for the first time and they are great. I bought a funnel and now I'm all set. Perfect size and resealable, which helps. I HATE that they are made in China but I needed them for something specific. I wish they would move manufacturing to the USA. ***UPDATE*** I just opened a new bag and they are sealed shut. I have broken 2 fingernails trying to open this batch. I came to these reviews to see if anyone else has had this problem and see that they have. I didn't like the company's response that this doesn't happen, because it has and is happening. Just bad customer service to say, "nuh-uh." I have found another brand which IS manufactured in the USA but it doesn't say BPA-free so will follow up with the company and find out.

We use them all the time, wish the opening was smaller.
These are so awesome. I absolutely love Zipzicles! As a mom who doesn't give my children highly processed and non-organic foods, I find these to be incredibly helpful. I order a bunch every month and fill them with all kinds of fun stuff. Our favorite is yogurt mixed with puréed strawberries and honey (it's like an organic homemade gogurtz) and we've started trying other fruits like blueberries. My kids like them frozen and so do I because it's less messy. For cold little hands use the Zipzicle "koozies". They are great for breakfast on the go or for an afternoon snack. For treats, I mix whipped cream with pudding and freeze it, we've also done lemonade. The possibilities are endless. So yummy! The reason for my four star rating is because I wish they were a bit skinnier. My kids have trouble getting their mouths all the way around them. We freeze them which solves the issue because they push the food out and lick it but it would be nice to have the option of packing them up for lunches and picnics away from home. I still love them though.

An Absolute MUST For Our Household!!!
Oh boy - where to start ... These guys are an absolute MUST in our home! My child has some sensitivities to food (such as artificial coloring, corn products, etc) and these Zipzicles make it so much easier for me to just whip up a batch or two of homemade "Go-Gurts" or even popsicles where I know what actually goes in them! They can be a little difficult to fill up, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy! I currently use a funnel to fill them up just below the fill line (esp if you're freezing them, don't fill up to the fill line as everything expands) also it makes for no spillage when you attempt to close the Zipzicle. I also stand it up in a cup and balance/hold it open with one hand while filling it up with the other hand. Another tip I would recommend, take a pair of scissors and "round out" the edges of the Zipzicle that will be put into your mouth (above the sealing point) They can be a little sharp or "pokey" as my child explains it. It will also make it easier to grasp and open as well.

Perfect for making easy summer Popsicles without unhealthy ingredients!
These things are awesome!!! I bought them because I'm pregnant and will be finishing my third trimester in August, so I wanted something to cool me down without giving me a ton of sugar and artificial colors. I bought these and filled them with a veggie juice blend and froze them, and they work perfectly! Easy to fill with a funnel, and they even have a fill line marked on the bags so you don't overfill them. None of them leaked or spilled when freezing, and they are easy to open and enjoy on a hot day! They are made of a slightly thicker plastic than regular ziplock bags (think freezer gallon bag thickness), and the zipper is firm and easy to use. Overall, these have absolutely no flaw that I can find. Perfect for making summer treats!
