High quality with great Customer Service!
After researching several litter boxes and purchasing several automatic litter boxes this is the only one I choose to be in my home that is always full of foster kittens. At one time I had 22 kittens running through this house and only two litter boxes because they were Furbulous Boxes. There is absolutely never a safety concern with kittens because you just turn off the auto scoop feature which means I have to go push the button and know that no kittens are around. But that certainly beats scooping several litter boxes multiple times a day. And I can do it all through the phone App if I know where my kittens are. When family and friends walk in my house they absolutely do not know that it is full of kittens. There are no odors there is no mess and the litter boxes are in the mudroom as soon as you enter my home. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who owns cats but specifically to rescues and cat and cat cafés that have multiple cats. There is not a safety concern. There are no odors, and I love the design of it. It fits under a table. There was a glitch with the trash lid, opening and closing with their very first model, but I contacted customer service and as soon as the new software version was available, they sent me one.

Awesome auto packing litter box
I have had the Furbulous box since it's inception on Indegogo. This box is honestly the best automatic litterbox that I have used, and I have tried all of them. I love that it auto cleans, and autopacks the trash for me (and mostly for my husband who does not want to do anything with the litterbox). It is so easy my children 4 and 8 have one each in their rooms so they can have one of the cats in their room at night and still have a litterbox. There are some nuances that you need to understand about the litterbox, and if you do things right, and don't just assume there is NOTHING that can wrong on an electronic machine. The big things I have found that have made me so happy, and have less issues than everyone else, is that before packing the trash, I just pull out the trash slightly to make sure the litter is not too high and going to get stuck in the sealing mechanism; I also make sure to ROUTINELY replace the scent pod as this really helps to seal in the smell; ONCE A MONTH at least, take the entire thing apart (it is so easy to remove all parts and clean, this is my favorite thing about it as compared to the other autolitter boxes, though I wish the globe came apart as well as I have to get my arm all the way in to deep clean around the diameter), if you do not do this, then the urine smell will get stuck on the box. Customer service has always been very helpful for me and has always figured out ways to work around any issues I have had, including the dreaded "cat around" that everyone talks about. I have also referred several of my friends to get this litterbox, as I really appreciation the look of this one as well over all the others (it fits much nicer in any area of the home as it is rectangle and not that large). My cats even will lay on top of it sometimes, or just in the litterbox sometimes, and I love that it has the safety feature to not run unless they are out. It's a great product, easy to clean, seals the trash for you so you just have to lift the bag and throw it away, its much more visually appropriate than the other more expensive ones, still has an app to monitor weights and how often your cats are going to the bathroom, and customer service is great. I will keep recommending this product to my friends.

Worked properly one time.
When it worked right it was great, unfortunately it only worked correctly one time. Customer Service contacted twice but only got a generic response telling me to put tape over the sensors. NOT! Sent it back!

Hasn't worked right once. **Update** 7/29/24
**Update 7/29/24**After working with Furbulous' customer service team, they shipped out a replacement box. I was told I could keep the malfunctioning box and use the replacement sensor I was shipped to repair it. The sensor is coming from China and has yet to arrive, however I'm looking forward to giving this a try. I was also shipped some of their proprietary bags for the litter box as an apology. So far the new box has been working as advertised -- will continue to update the review as things progress.------------------------------------------------------I wanted to like this box. The design is straight forward, it's simple enough to understand and operate. Perhaps the only thing I didn't like about it up front was that it requires the use of specific bags that can only be acquired through the manufacturer to work as intended. Ended up on sale for prime day and I pulled the trigger. Here's how my experience went:Unboxing and setting this up was extremely simple. All the extra parts came packaged in the pull out drawer for the trash.I removed the orb so that I could pour litter into it, rather than have to scoop the litter into it, as once in place, there's no way to load cat litter into the device due to the angle of the opening. This is a bit of an oversight in the items development. But, not enough to be -that- off putting.I installed the waste bags and then replaced the cover / hood before plugging the unit in.Every time the unit is unplugged, it goes through a sensor check, no issues occured. After it was finished, I created an account for the app on my phone and began the syncing process, which was painless. There's no option to manually update the firmware of the device in the app. Under the firmware option, it'll only tell you what version you're running with no way to push that update via the app or the unit itself.Assuming the unit was fine, I introduced my cat's to the box, who didn't have any issues taking to the new litter box. However, after one of my cats used the unit for the first time I received a notice on my app after the unit went through a 'cleaning' cycle (it scooped the box and dumped it into the trash bag). Once this process finishes, I'm sent an error code E13. While this error displayed, it locked out the menu buttons on the unit and wouldn't allow for a software restart.Thinking it was something on my end, I unplugged the unit, took the top off and began thoroughly looking over the unit before reassembling and plugging back in.When it restarted, it went through it's usual sensor and balancing check and no longer showed the error. This exact same issue occured after my other cat decided to use the box shortly after the first. So I wrote customer service, explaining what I had encountered. They assured me that the E13 issue was nothing to be concerned about and that a firmware update would resolve this issue. This process requires me to get my MAC address for the device and give it to their customer service representative so they could push the update to the device. One update later I followed the instructions which had me unplug the unit for a minute after the update had finished and then plug the unit back in. Once more the unit went through it's sensor and balance check. Once more the E13 code was cleared.Half an hour later, one of my cats used the unit again and the same E13 returned locking up the box.I immediately sent another email to customer service, who told me to "Unplug the device and plug it back in. Then if it continues to occur, send them photos of the code and the serial number." Following their instructions, this temporarily reset the unit, clearing the code until the box went through this cycle yet again. While I waited for one of my cats to use the box again so I could follow up, I spent my time deep diving the issue. There really isn't a lot online regarding this issue. However, I found a foreign version of the manufacturer's website that had a lost of device error codes and their "resolutions". I sent a screen shot of this as well as my serial number back to customer service as soon as the error returned. (I've included this screen shot in the photos). It started that the ultrasonic sensor has failed and the only fix is to replace the unit.Despite me citing this directly to their customer service team, they insisted that they have to run the problem through their engineering team, who won't be in until Monday. (This was all happening during the course of a Friday). And if they need to replace the unit, they would, after.I considered returning the item as defective directly through Amazon, however there wasn't a replacement option available -- only a refund option, which means that I would have to reorder a new unit and would lose out on the discount that I had received from prime day as the promotion had ended. So here I sit, with a neigh unless litter box that I spent several hundred dollars on -- plugging and unplugging any time I get a notification that it's been used and now has the E13 error.
