Holds 150lbs and my boxing bag with no struggle. Nyloc nuts are included, and therefore the assembly cannot be done by hand. The wall mount screws do not have a slot for a driver, so will have to be ratcheted in to avoid putting them in manually with a wrench. However, these are not issues that affect the overall quality of the product, just need to prepare with the correct tools (Wrench x2, Power Drill and Ratchet (or socket attachment for drill))

Use your own masonary bolts for this the ones provided all sheared off when attaching to wall so had to drill new holes.

I backed out of trying this out, having done most of the work to fit it to the wall in the garage. It's a supporting wall made of hollow breeze blocks. My wife (trained as a civil engineer) advised me that I shouldn't drill within 2 inches of the edges of the breeze blocks, which left me drilling the 4 top holes through the middle of the block. After doing so, I was somewhat concerned that if I fully loaded the bar - I'm about 95Kg in weight, then there was a risk of pulling out the front of the breeze block. The bracket comes with no specific instructions about attaching to the wall. I would agree with other reviewers that 4 of the bolts for attaching to the wall are too long. It seems that I could have spread the load better by building a wooden frame for it. Alternatively using a polyester resin anchor instead of the nylon rawlplugs might have given sufficient strength to the block - but I don't think the polyester resin would have worked in a hollow block. Aside from that though, it seems to be pretty well made. It's relatively heavy steel, and the fittings seem reasonable quality, though 4 bolts are perhaps a bit too long.

Very sturdy & easy to install....

Unfortunately this product is the second time I’ve purchased as the wall bracket snapped after 15 months of use. Though all screws in bracket remained intact in wall even though bracket was severed. The assembly holds on second bracket securing point weren’t identical which is disappointing and makes installing less easy, but the price is good and it was more logical based on price to buy the item again. Probably would not buy a third time unless item last at least 2 years. My old punch bag securing bracket never broke after 10 years of use.

Excellent product. I’ve used a range of brackets over the years and this is excellent quality; particularly happy with the wall attachments which can often be too small to properly support the weight but these were perfect and the bracket is really sturdy now attached. Easy to assemble but you may need a second pair of hands to properly install. Would highly recommend.

Sturdy - up in the garden - definitely will use in the next ten years.

It’s a great value, sturdy hanger but (unless I’m missing something here) the one irritating negative is that it arrives with 6 x 90mm long wall screws when it should have been 2 x 90mm and 4 x 50mm. You need the 50mm ones for the top 4 holes that don’t need to go through a bar (in the way the 2 lower ones do). I tried to post a question (noticing someone had asked the same question 2 years ago but didn’t get a useful answer) but heard nothing further. Once I’d bought 4 x 50mm for those top holes it went up great, but I shouldn’t have had to.
