Bell Comfort Cruiser Bike Tires with Flat Defense

This tire is a nice option for a bicycle that sees more road that offroad. The tires are smooth and are not loud. Even though they are smooth I style feel grip when I ride around.

I used these for my mountain bike to E bike conversion. Makes long distance (paved) trail riding much easier/quieter. I've put over 400 miles on them this summer already and they still look new even though they have been on trails of all types: dirt, gravel, paved. The resistance reduction from not having the heavy mountain bike off road tread really does make a big difference in the long hauls, plus the noise reduction when going 30mph is a comfort to my ears. I also use a heavy trailer to tow up to 500lbs so they are plenty strong enough for any size rider or cargo.

As with any bicycle tire, you’ll find it easier to install if you have tire levers. They’re cheap and worth the added expense. Having said that, with a little time and the right tools, you’ll be able to change your tires out in no time. In terms of quality, these are straightforward, about the same as you’d get in any Target or Wal-Mart. I’m confident that they’ll work for my beach cruiser with no issue. I’d definitely recommend them.

Purchased a set of these tires for my 26" Huffy Marietta. Got tired of paying for bike tires repeatedly because of tourists throwing glass on pavement and nails from work trucks. Purchased a set of self-sealing Slime tubes to match so any issues, it won't be an easy puncture this time around. I've to to say the tubes fit into the tires well. My bike usually takes the 2.125" size, so I was skeptical, these are about 2", and I'm used to having deeper tread, but they stay on well, and have a nice smooth ride to them for cruiser wheels. Also love the added thickness where rubber hits road. I think for long-lasting durability, these will do perfectly.

I installed this tire on my friends bikes, mainly for the the kevlar belt, to prevent flats from thorns. I checked 4 of 5 for durability. They may be 5 of 5, but the tires only have a few miles on them...time will tell. These tires fit their 26" comfort bike wheels easily. They are a bit narrower than the stock tires. So, I did also install narrower inner tubes. The original inner tubes were too "fat" to fit into these tires. The tread pattern is great for pavement and also good for hard packed, well maintained roads and paths.

I needed new tires and I wanted something with a little more grip on the dirt as where I ride my beach cruiser is not designed to get around by bicycle. The roads have dirt and sand on the edges where a bike lane should be that usually lead into sweet potato or cotton fields, or an almond orchard. Local drivers don't know how to drive and California made it mandatory to leave space for riders, even though I been driven off the road by a guy who painted his camero to claim how great Jesus is. That guy crashed later and his car was totaled and I saw it listed for sale for parts at a local muffler shop. With these tires I can go off the beaten path since the roads aren't so friendly. I even drove across the grass at the local park without issue. I lose a little on the pavement and asphalt but I expected that and didn't include that in my rating. They look nice on my cruiser. The Bell label is on only one side so I can only see my valve placement when to the right of the bike.

On my Ebike total weight about 280lbs, these get 5500km before I would replace them on someone else's bike. If you are running them until they get flats, I would guess you could get 10k. The perfect city tire, if you have some dirt paths. Works great on clean dirt paths, but is pretty terrible in sand. These are made by Innova, which is a big Chinese tire manufacturer. The durability is about the same as a motorcycle tire, but thinner. These are my go to 26's.

Good and cheap 26" tire. Relatively narrow (1.75"), so it requires more air pressure for fast and comfortable ride. Suitable for city and light trail riding conditions. 5 stars.

Pretty good street tire - low friction tread. Not really intended for off-road use. Good price
