Excellent Paddle
Great control. Great spin. Generates enough power. The first time I played with this paddle, I gave half of my other paddles away (I owned six, as I was searching for the right one). I’ve probably played with 10+ paddles and this one will be my go to for the foreseeable future. The balls, wrap, case, and eraser it comes with are a nice added bonus.

Nice paddle that procides great control
First, this paddle is presented nicely unpacked. It comes in a great package with two pickleballs, an overgrip and a pickleball paddle eraser and a great quality case. I like the amenities it comes with, it was a nice touch in a nice box. On to the paddle itself, the handle is very comfortable offers great grip, no slip. Because of the textured surface, it does give me great control of the ball and allows me to place some nice spin on it when i need to. I do have another paddle I do prefer that is graphite, comes in a bit lighter and has a better sweet spot than this. What makes that better as well is it was cheaper than this paddle. Even though you would be satisfied with the play of this paddle, I did remove a star simply because I believe there are better paddles out there for less money.

GREAT PADDLE!
I'm a slightly better than average pickup ball player with my roots and Tennis and ping pong. I went through eight other paddles before settling on this and it was not settling at all. Amazing spin, control, and pop when needed. Returned Diadem, gearbox, and others. I am picky and Very happy with this puchase.

Nice starter set
This is a nice pickleball starter set from Insum. It comes with a case, some balls, a nice paddle and some accessories. The main issue I saw with this item is that it’s a starter kit equipped a paddle targeting intermediate to expert players. While the paddle is great, most people that would need such a paddle would already have all of the accessories included, therefore this paddle set would to be best for a niche audience. Now to the paddle, this paddle is excellent and the surface has just the texture to allow some serious control skills. The sweet spot is about average but gets the job done. It is lightweight and carbon fiber so it hits about as good as any paddle paddle I have used. Any better paddles cost a lot more than this. So this is a good kit at a low price point.

Premium quality
This is my first pickleball paddle that's over $100. I am impressed. The built quality is better than my other paddles. More solid. This is not a super lightweight paddle at 8.1 oz but has a small grip of 4.25 inches. Grip is very comfortable. Soft and grippy with bumps. Handle is long so I can do double handed backhand if needed. And I can go up in grip size with provided overgrips. The paddle surface is very rough like sandpaper. Love this kind of grippy face so I can provide better spins. Balls come off this paddle with solid sound and power. Color pattern is very classic. Basically, all black with some white and red colors on words and lines. Not too crazy or loud. The included full cover is the best cover I have seem. Almost too nice. Thick with leather like plastic outside. Two bonus balls are good quality. The package box is very big, or should I say very deep. Great for gifting. Whoever gets this will be impressed. I think this will become my go to paddle from now on. It's expensive at list price, but now has some discount and coupons so better valued.

FANTASTIC Value
The first thing that struck me was the premium packaging accompanying this paddle. Very "Apple-ish" in presentation. That CAN be a red flag to wrap garbage with a pretty bow, but once you use this paddle, you'll realize that this paddle is more than worthy of its lofty boxing. If you're getting this paddle for yourself, you'll receive an excellent Gen2 paddle that is priced consistent to its competitors (139.99 at time of review with a $30 coupon bringing it to $99.99). This $90ish point makes this an outstanding value. For this you receive a quality paddle, eraser, overgrip wraps (3), and a full racket, PU leather protective case. The paddle plays very well. Great balance of pop and control and a carbon fiber face that imparts excellent spin on the ball. My paddle weighed in at 8.1oz/232gr, which is on the heavier (albeit slightly) side for pro level paddles. That said, this plays plenty quick at the kitchen for hand battles, speed ups and resets and placement/touch are great with the INSUM Achilles. If you are looking for a gift for your favorite pickleballer, look no further. This is a big deal as I've received "gift" paddles that were well intentioned, but not worth of hang tag space in an outlet store. With the INSUM Achilles, you're gifting a a quality paddle that most would love to have in their bag in a package that is second to none.

Major Upgrade
Major Upgrade for an Advancing Player! I've been pickling for a couple of years now and have gone through half a dozen paddles. I've recently tried out a couple of different raw carbon-faced paddles, and this is the latest one. Two other paddles are T700 Carbon and I've really enjoyed them. I was wondering if the T800 Carbon face would make much of a difference. T800 is supposed to have a higher carbon content, making it stronger and stiffer than T700. Between my three paddles (x2 T700 and x1T800), this Insum T800 definitely has more pop and I'd say more spin as well. The sweet spot on this paddle is very large and after 10+ games, I've only had a couple of mishits. The grip on this paddle is really nice, with a slight "ribbed" feature which I find adds comfort and control. It also comes with an overgrip set, carbon eraser, and a couple of balls. The paddle is officially listed on the USA Pickleball website and has a passing grade, so that should give buyers unfamiliar with this brand some confidence. Bottom Line: Very, very nice paddle that the advance player should be well pleased with.
