Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom [DVD]

Arrived in plenty of time. Great DVD, my little girl is a huge fan and was delighted with this. The film is fun and the bonus disc with 7 episodes really delighted her. I'm sure I will get fed up with it very soon as it will be played again and again and again... You get the point.

This is a great dvd for any WINK fans. he movie is great and the other disc is a collection of episodes from the nikelodean channel it is on. My 4 year old daughter and her 8 year old friend love it - its become a firm favourite already!

This movie is excellent. Its a happy ending for bloom and anyone following bloom's story from the beginning. True winx fans will be very excited. Although the movie is in german, it has the Rai english audio too!!!!! Its worth every dollar you spend. :)

The dvd arrived on time and was well packaged. My 6 year old loves the winks and enjoyed watching the dvd which she has done a few times now. I would recommend this dvd to anyone whose child loves winks.

Before I go into anything else, the animation in this show is perfectly decent. The storyline is decent and it has enough action, romance, comedy for the kids and older alike. The reason for the two stars is the questionable imagery used for the female characters. Within the first 5 minutes of the film, the character (literally) rip off long robes seductively, are then completely naked except for white light or body positioning to hide certain aspects and then proceed to transform into their fairy forms with suggestive body movements. On top of this, the main characters are all insanely skinny, which is something young girls should not learn to admire. You then have moments in the film where the main characters wear clothing which is just too suggestive. Mixed with camera angles which leave little to the imagination, revealing dresses and skin-tight suits. I fail to see how this could be considered appropriate. Considering this is aimed at a very young demographic, it concerns me how young girls would mimic this fashion and physical appearance.

I first watched this a number of years ago and I loved it instantly. I like the animation and the storyline is nice and traditional, Bloom is my favourite character in the series. I'd recommend this to any Winx Club fan :)

My 6 year old daughter saved her pocket money up for this DVD and was very happy with it. The bonus DVD doubles the play time so all I have to do now is convince my daughter it not ok to watch several hours of Winx club all in one sitting! A very good buy for us.

As you can tell, I'm not German. I don't even speak German. However, I purchased this DVD from the German website because it is UNAVAILABLE in any English speaking country (US, UK, Australia, and so on). I emailed the English language Amazon and they sent me back a full guide telling me step by step how to order. Top marks Amazon. For anybody who is in the same boat, this version has an excellent ENGLISH LANGUAGE sound track. What's more, its 100% UNCUT. That's right. This DVD contains a full an uncensored English language version of the movie. The sound on this DVD is great. It's not only in English, but it's good English. It's about the same as the RAI English dub, which is to say that it is about 10 times better than the censored US dub. The voices might be a little different to what you're used to (Layla, for example has a southern accent), but it's still a good quality sound track for a children's cartoon. All of the songs are in English, too. They won't win any prizes but they are still well done, none the less. The graphics are a little mixed. The animation is super smooth and sharp. No corners have been cut, and the motion is very fluid and the physics were well done on all of the characters. The backgrounds are also of an extremely high quality. Almost cinema quality, in fact. The only let down is that he character's facial movements are overly simple. The backgrounds are Disney quality, but the mouth movements, and facial details are more Bratz (OK, a bit better)/made for TV. There are no added extras on the DVD itself (other than the English language sound track, of course). It's have liked some sing alongs or something, but I guess that you can't have everything. The film itself is everything that I hoped it was. The story is imaginative and emotional, the dialog is solid and not too cheesy, and the plot finally resolved the fate of Blooms parents. It also finally codifies the fate of the three ancestral witches. While the film stays true to the plot of the series it appears to completely write Baltor/Valtor out of the picture. There are several flashbacks to the final battle for Domino/Sparkz but no references to him whatsoever. Oh, and the film is very very cute. You're kids will absolutely love this. Even if they are not fans of the series this is a must for any fairy fan. There is no cursing and no blood (or gross/naughty jokes), but there is a little fantasy sword fighting and some mild peril, and Bloom does cry a bit because she is afraid that she will never find her parents, but it's nothing that even a small child could not handle, though (It's no more scary than the series). I'd have no qualms about letting my children see this. It's less scary than the Little Mermaid or any other Disney. It's not too bad for slightly older audiences, either, it's not too cutesy or too childish for older girls, though older boys may get bored. If your daughter likes pink, or cute Anime she will love this into her teens. If you love Winx then definitely buy this. contact your English language Amazon and they will tell you how to order form the German site. I ordered using a Visa credit card which they accepted with no problems. Though the postage made it a bit expensive. ONe last think, to change to English just use the language function on your remote. The Gemran for language is Spreckenz, or something similar. There are only two options on the menu. you can't miss it.

First off, yes I know that this unique cartoon is for teenagers and younger. However, the Winx Club series contains cheerful content that is good for a healthy and happy escape to some of the true spiritually dark events that happen in real-life. Additionally, I’m learning some ideas to apply to themes I can keep in mind for my law of attraction writing and story -telling writing (regardless of whether and/or when I get published). Winx Club; The Secret of The Lost Kingdom movie (Nickelodeon Channel)centers around Bloom’s mission to help find her parents. Fortunately, Bloom gets help from her friends along the way and there are a couple of upbeat messages hidden in the film. Some of the messages/reminders that I took away from watching the film; a person has the potential to write/create whatever ending they want when it comes to their story in their personalized book of life, the power of believing in yourself even when things seemed stacked against you, and how you are spiritually not alone and can call on spiritual assistance in your waking life even when you are temporarily running into challenges trying to attract and/or be a magnet to certain help in real-life. I just wish that I could comment on the bonus episodes that are meant to come with this edition (I’m in the midst of getting this resolved from the merchant I ordered the dvd from, yet I do intend to provide an update when I get the chance to view them). On the back of the dvd, it is written that there are 7 Bonus Episodes From Winx Club; The Power of Believix. Nonetheless, this Winx Club; The Secret of the Lost Kingdom movie dvd is listed to be produced at Rainbow CGI Animation Studio via A Rainbow Production and is perfect for those who like mystical cartoons that deal with interdimensional travel to multiple worlds.

I'm the best auntie ever my niece loved it

I bought this movie for my niece and i to watch, I have been watching Winx Club with my nieces since it first came out on Fox Kids TV I have 3 awesome nieces and have watch with each at different times since it first appeared in the USA. My youngest niece niece is who i got this movie for but i enjoyed as much as she did. This movie was fantastic it has every thing good guys and gals, as well as bad ones. Loss and tragedy and a triumphant ending. Even my mother who doesn't understand "Cartoons" as she calls them admitted it was great and she was very teary eyed over the most up lifting scene on the movie I want say what i don't want to spoil it for anyone else. I just wish it had not take so long to come out in the USA it was supposed to air in theaters in 2009 or 2010 i believe hopefully then second movie wont take so long.
