Father Brown: Season Eleven (DVD)

This show nails the cozy murder mystery genre. It’s uplifting while still having great mysteries every episode. It seems to get better with each season that comes along.

Great period piece. So well done. More tasteful and higher quality than most U.S. pieces these days. They take the time to do this RIGHT with this show. Love it! I just wish there were more episodes per season. Also, I miss Mrs McCarthy.

This have been a very interesting series of mysteries.I appreciate a good whodunnit without seeing a bloodbath to get there!I do however miss the original characters that have been replaced after years. ( I won’t spoil it for those that haven’t watched from the beginning). I wish they would bring them back!The young girl character on the series now needs to be replaced.Very glad “the bad guy” is still around though!He is always a great addition to the show.

I have every one of this program. A great watch

First, a moment of honesty is needed at the beginning. I greatly miss the old recurring characters I came to love from the previous seasons of 'Father Brown'. And with those characters gone, I am struggling with the new cast members. It is not their fault. Storylines evolve and so too do the folks hired to play those characters. That being said, I truly hope 'Father Brown' never ends production, because the investment of time and money watching this BBC television show these past 10 seasons, as well as purchasing each season on DVD, has been worth it. I also greatly appreciate a TV show that actually has a morality element to its story telling. The eleventh season does not disappoint. Production values are still higher than most U.S. episodic television shows, and the addition of Tom Chambers back into the line-up of recurring roles is greatly valued. If you already have the previous 10 seasons, then you know the 11th season needs to become part of your DVD collection.

Been watching Father Brown for years and still find the program entertaining. Sometimes I figure it out and sometimes I don't.

Love this series. Hope they keep making the dvds of this series.Wish movie makers would make more movies like this, and just good clean fun movies. I really miss those.
